All those grounds are ridiculous. Run a dedicated ground from each taillight up, tie in the side markers and straight to the harness ground. Bypass the trailer all together, it's completely unreliable, it's all painted and bolted together, nothing is connected.
@brianh1161Ай бұрын
A common ground wire is the best. But I ain’t got time for that. My lights have worked in the rain. If ya need a folding trailer to store in the garage, these are pretty much your only option. I only use mine 3-4 times a year. It’s fine if you aren’t depending on it for frequent heavy duty use. Thanks for posting.

I have same tent, a couple things I did or do , I have a 16X20 tarp I have the 20’ overhang the sides (roughly 4-5’ each side ) this gives you an area on both sides to store Gear,coolers ,wood etc under cover . I added a flap for wood stove pipe in tarp , i also made rebar tent stakes 18” long, I also bought a diesel heater, this keeps tent warm at night so you don’t have to get up for fire . In morning I add a duraflame log to start fire for day and shut off heater. Wood stove has 3 gallon water tank ,:to power diesel heater and allpower power station provides plenty of power for heater and you can solar charge it .

Theres a grommet too thats real cheep that would work well with your rain fly. The extra tarp on the roof also makes the roof insulated. I was amazed in the deference it made.
@brianh11612 ай бұрын
Tarp does make a world of difference keeping the warm air inside the tent. I have a Coghlan's grommet set I've used to repair the rain fly. I should add some of them to the bottom flap but never do. Last campout I simply tucked the bottom flaps underneath the floor and it worked pretty well sealing things off. Thanks for watching.

I'd interested to know how you transferred the film to video. It looks really good. I have a box of Super 8's, I was going to project them and video the screen but I doubt they would look this good.

I bought an apparatus called a Wolverine Film2digital Moviemaker. It scans your film reels and digitizes them onto an SD card. I think it was about $300 on Amazon but worth the priceless artifacts. My only complaint is, it would be nice if it had a freeze frame feature to acquire still shots; there may be a model that does? The individual frames themselves on the film are much clearer in analog than, say, after it is digitized and you try to hit pause. They make a freeze frame only machine for that purpose but I haven’t bothered buying one. Maybe some day?

@@brianh1161is it worth the money? I’m thinking about buying one for use around the house and to keep one in my work truck for when I run into down trees in the roadway. I know it’s just a tiny 12 inch but realistically it should handle most skinny pines that find their way into the roadway
@brianh11614 ай бұрын
@@justinjessup6881 Mine is the 10" but for the occasional recreational use it's been solid. Definitely exceeded my expectations so far. We cut up 5 days' worth of wood with it when we camp in the cold months without a gas chainsaw permit (recharging each day). I bought a 4 Ah chinese battery for it. The 2 Ah battery that comes with it will let you cut up an entire 4-5" tree trunk and more which ain't bad but the 4 Ah will do probably 4-5 times that amount. My only complaint is the bar oil cap can leak a few drops over time if not perfectly tight. I always put it down on its side with the cap facing up. Thanks for watching.
