I feel like with planners they aren’t needed unless you are a student. Otherwise a phone is fine

I also have a minimal wardrobe for my son. There is also swim stuff and sports gear. I dont have Sunday clothes, because he hated them. So he just wears a clean set on Sunday ;)

Forget about the latest phone, it's the phone boxes I need to throw out! And omg, as a crafter, I find it so hard to throw away those neat little sturdy boxes because "they will be useful for something in the future" I need help.

Oh my! The prices of natural make-up. I'd have to save for a couple of months for one item. That's way too expensive for me. I'll stick to drugstore stuff. But I do want to have a small collection as I have a habit of over buying stuff.

I have a hard time with the price point at times also, BUT I’ve chosen to lessen the amount I buy and go for quality or quantity with makeup, so it makes it worth it! :)

I'm a little bit of a collector/avid user of different bags, but other than that, I 100% agree with you. We are so programmed to think we "need" all of these extra things, but it's simply not true! And personally, I've found such a freedom in decluttering and owning less. It was a weird feeling to realize this reality for me, but I highly recommend it to everyone. Baby steps, and see how it feels. You might surprise yourself! 🤍

i haven't shopped at a regular clothing store for years, since i can find pretty much everything at thrift stores. i get underwear, bras and socks online to save time on roaming around stores; mostly bc i'm very shy and don't want staff asking me if i need help, but i also don't like to be stared at or questioned while looking at bras since i often get mistaken for a boy DESPITE having C cups...😂😅

Oh my gosh, the store rewards cards!! I just cancelled 3 of them. I buy ywo oairs of shoes from this store. Its been years since i was there. I get a $5 AFTER I purchased the shoes. The "reward" jas a 3 month expiration date. I am not going in to the store to spend $50 ⬆️ to save $5!!! Enough already. Other stores do similar sales and i haven't been in there in months... Key is: i cant stand the constant email bombardment to spend spend spend. I canceled the 3 most annoying....oneards and upwards .....

At the age of 52, I left my job and began receiving my full Social Security benefits. and after a couple of years went back to work full-time in a different industry. For me, it's enjoyable. Really! As so, I make money from three sources. I like life and go wherever I want to go.

Just take off the bandage and release them. I sell a coin right away if I'm unsure about it. Although it is annoying to lose money, the longer you keep it as a pet, the more opportunities you miss out on because you could have spent the cash on something more worthwhile.

Time is the most precious resource that most people misuse. There are only five opportunities in a lifetime to begin a low-risk, thirty-year investment route that will lead to financial independence, starting at age 25. It is definitely achievable after that, but the harder it gets the longer you wait.

I’ve slowly over time began detaching myself from most of these plus more. But my main problem is books. I spend a ton of money on brand new or used books and it’s very expensive. I’m spending too much for one thing, but I’m also not able to read them as fast as I’m buying them. I always say I’m gonna stop but then I see something else I want. I struggle with it really bad. I’ve slowly been reminding myself I don’t need to have it if I’m not even going to be reading it right now anyways, kind of like what you were saying earlier. I’d love to be a library girl but I love having my own books that are mine. I love reading but I love collecting them too

I just purchased a situp bench because I remember enjoying using it at my college gym. I've been using it every day because I wanted to do more situps but find them very uncomfortable on the floor. And I don't have any other workout equipment at home.

I usually wait until trends have ended up at the thrift store. Then I'm not so upset at myself if I don't end up liking it. It can just go back to the thrift store. So true about books I haven't read yet and am not currently reading (I start feeling guilty for not reading them!) and planners that apparently work for other people but not me.

I love scented candles and I use them from autumn to spring. However,I stopped buying low quality ones and I made it my mission to find the candles that make my whole house smell good. I now have 5 big candles (250 grams and a 400 grams one) with 5 different scents that I love and rotate depending on the season. However,I make sure that they don’t burn for more than an hour and I always open the windows after putting them out. And then my house smells like clean air with a hint of whatever the scent I lit that day. What can I say, they bring me comfort 🙂
