This was the best thing I can remember about growing up

Played the crap out of this as a kid

A full remake of this game with modern graphics and physics engines would be fantastic. Keep the core gameplay elements and bring it into the modern gaming era.

This was a really good game in 1992. Newer games have superior graphics, animations and audio, but the gameplay is similar. In 1992 the average computer user would have had a 80386 CPU (speed between 12.5 MHz and 40 MHz), a 2d graphics card, a SVGA monitor (I think), and a sound card if they were cashed up. Real commercial 3D accelerators hadn't been invented yet.
