Thanks for the vid. People who complain the loudest and hate HOAs are the same people who do not do their homework before buying. Shame on them. Yes, you can certainly foreclose for unpaid assessments but not for unpaid fines here in SC. The fines will just stay on your account accruing interest and late fee's. Once you do sell your house the certification of assessments will guarantee the fine money will be collected at closing. Sad how many people are buying homes with zero research, and how many attorneys ( not speaking of you ) don't let their clients know what they are buying into and don't provide the documentation / by laws / master deed / rules and regs etc of the association before closing day to be reviewed. Oh well, live and learn a tough lesson for those who don't do their research before buying. I always ask these people, would you buy a car if you don't test drive it or a boat to see if it floats ?

Dropped a carseat with the 2week old baby in it. On purpose from his chest height and he is 6 foot. Leaving the baby to run back to the mom and friend. Fist out to beat up the friend. Got his ass handed to him. Called the police and tried to say he was pulled out of his van and beaten. The neighbors told the truth he was not charged because he looked really bad face wise he was beaten. Hasn't shown up for any visits unless he was there to fight & whin. Has lied and used his drug habit to say mental disorder issues. It really depends on the judge that you get. What city you live in. CAS is very destructive in Canada, ruins a lot of people. I know another couple that had their kids taken because they had a child that passed away of natural causes. They kept trying to keep all immunite paperwork out of the sight of the judge trying to pretend these people were stupid. When they realize that they couldn't really just do that they get a retired Doctor to try and say that they can't parent because their ability would endanger the children. There is no test that you could put on somebody that can prove they would be a danger to their child. Almost 4yrs latter and 6 or so judges. The judge that firstly created this disaster had since retired, been pulled back out of retirement to handle this case and she died. Stress of a dirty career will do that to you.
