I also run cheap crappy Amazon paddles if you take a dreamal and buff them down you get like 2x the traction and it’s great

So I just picked one up and I'd put the top speed in stock gearing at around 30mph. Estimated could be around 20 or 25 but that's a tad faster then a mini t2.0 stock which I had but brushless swapped

It is stock! I’m fitting it with an IFS. I have a short showing it hitting the whoops. Still some kinks to work out.

OK, I've got a question. My son and I have these hosim trucks. Got them as gifts. I'm saving to get us some Arrma Granites. Question is, can these cars be upgraded at all? Like shocks A arms and what not? I'm not too knowledgeable in this hobby yet. Just getting started but I'd like to get as much longevity out of these hosims as I can. They're still plenty fun. Is there a place to get replacement parts that you're aware of?

I haven’t seen any upgrade parts for these other than shocks. I did that the other day actually and need to edit the video on it. The motors, esc, servo, are all very specific shapes and sizes. This is a great budget truck to get started but you should definitely get something else to progress in the hobby. The more popular the vehicle, the more options you have for upgrades.

I think the new ESC is the same as the AX-24 with rear steering. Unfortunately Axial doesn’t include the SLT-3 transmitter.

Almost. The drive shafts are the hardest part. It work much better on the regular TRX4M than the high trail with some mods.

This truck will do 20+ miles per hour just like the typhon grom and granite grom and the losi nascar will all share the same parts like the motor and esc system and the differential 😮😅

your eyes look so good how i see it with pricing is arrma granite grom $ 129.99 base arrma typhon grom + $10 for fan arrma mojave grom +$20 for fan and v2 diffs makes sence in my eyes hbx 3100a is what i compare it to but i cant get that car where i live banggood doesnt sell it so arrma mojave grom is the way to go and i am going to

The mojave grom also comes with the updated v2 diffs. The previous groms have diff issues.

Motor and esc are. Chewed all the teeth right off the spur. So I upgraded to the cheapest metal one I found on Amazon and nothing but trouble with that. So get a solid spur and slipper assembly.
