Hi, just want to let you know the cover crop seeds I purchased from you are doing exceptionally well! So happy I used them to cover a raised bed that I didn’t want to use over the hot summer. Learning all the time, thanks.

Chance of freeze for you so spring is best or you can start it in a pot this year (now is fine) and grow it out this winter before putting in ground next spring.

Great video. Moving to Freeport soon, need to school up on what i can do with our 1 acre. The landscaping will definitely need to be redone so also definitely interested in how I can replace some of the ornamental/basic landscaping plants and shrubs with some plants that will produce.

Fantastic video. Seemed like someone had given you a list of all the questions I had about vermicomposting and you answered them! One question though - all the other videos stress giving the worms lots of aeration in their container and yours does not seem to do that. Did I miss something? And how about grass clippings for food?

There are two kinds of cassava, what we call white doesn’t have the red part in the leaves and it’s softer to cook than the one with red stems in the leaves. We uses this last ones to make pasteles, similar to tamales, we use green bananas and squash for the dough.

I just bought a blue passion fruit (Passiflora caerulea), I didn’t know about the cross pollination issue. Do you know if the blue one can fruit on it’s own or do I need two? I couldn’t find the answer online.

Im not familiar with that one, Im sorry! Perhaps the nursery where you purchased it would have experiential knowledge on it.

The purple passion fruit has been the star of our garden too! I have it growing up the front yard tree. It is the perfect fruit to do that with, because when the fruit is ripe, it drops from the vine. It is like an Easter Egg hunt everyday😄. Thank you for your videos! And I hope to get your book soon😊 Florida, Zone 10

I had a yellow passion fruit plant that grew like crazy, so much that it broke the trellis that I had and it was a headache to keep under control. It only produced like 3 passion fruits, I was wondering why it flowered so much but didn’t produce any fruit. I got rid of it because I didn’t know what was wrong with it. Now I know that it needs another plant to cross pollinate and next time I will try the purple one because I have very little space for two passion fruit plants. Anyway I put up another trellis and planted a Concord grape vine on one side and a Marquis grape vine on the other side and they produce tons of grapes and my kids love them. And it is so much easier to maintain. Thanks for your videos, I always learn so much, you are a wealth of knowledge.

Absolutely love seeing two of my three favorite young gardening ladies. Where is Jaqueline? I am so very grateful to have connected with each of these young ladies at the beginning of my FL (Dunedin) gardening addiction. Each have been incredibly helpful, timely and encouraging although special shout out to Patrina who has been extra patient with me and answers every silly question. Thank you for doing this necessary but oh so fun collab. Happy 👩‍🌾

Thank you. I'm going to implement the summer cover crops! I've planted a bunch of marigolds over the years and they never last. Could there be something I'm missing in my rather small garden areas? I plant whatever wherever. I have 5 different areas roughly 10x6 around the yard. Different amounts of sun, water, care and marigold die in all. Usually I plant all plants everywhere and watch what takes in the different areas. Not really worried about losing some.

Seriously? Innoculant studies show that there is zero benefit to using it. Most recent studies-all of them-show that it’s not worth it.

I heard somewhere that Jamaican cherry can put out runners up to 50-100 feet away so you shouldnt plant them anywhere near your house. Have you found that? Also for blueberries, do you use one of the southern high bush varieties? Im in Sarasota county and even with one of those varieties I'm not sure we get enough chill hours
