6.07/6:05: Formula= Desired number of cells to seed/Total number of cells=Volume to transfer/Volume of the cell suspension 10000/4000000=volume to transfer/20mL 10000/4000000*20=0.05mL which is equal to 50 microliter Further Total cells=4000000 and total volume is 20000ul so 1ul contains= 4000000/20000=200 which multiply by 50= 50*200=10000 cells

what is meant by adding 10% DMSO to 90% FBS? can anyone explain
@kosheeka18 күн бұрын
In the context of cryopreservation, adding 10% DMSO to 90% FBS refers to mixing two solutions to create a freezing medium for cells or biological samples. Here's a breakdown of the components: • 10% DMSO (Dimethyl sulfoxide): This is a cryoprotectant. During freezing, water in the cells can form ice crystals, which can damage the cell structure. DMSO helps prevent this by reducing the formation of ice crystals and protecting the cell membranes. • 90% FBS (Fetal Bovine Serum): This is a cell culture medium supplement that provides essential nutrients and growth factors for cells. It also contains proteins that can further protect cells during freezing. Therefore, adding 10% DMSO to 90% FBS creates a freezing medium that offers both cryoprotection (DMSO) and cell support (FBS). All the best for your experiment.

I’ve found a cure for hayfever,another auto-immune disease but no one wants to listen to me.I am in the top 1% of hayfever sufferers in the UK according to my specialist at royal Brompton hospital.I had to be on predniselone each summer time to turn off my immune system.Until I realised the cause…BARLEY.If I cut barley out of my diet my hayfever stops dead in its tracks. It takes about a week mind you to turn it off and eating barley again turns it back on almost straight away. I figure this information has got to be important to someone out there.

Thank you - my brother suffers from Huntington's disease - which is now in an advanced stage - your feedback provides the supporting families with hope.
@marshall4509 Жыл бұрын
Huntington’s has torn its way through my family, I’ve lost many to it including my father. Im 20 years old myself and it has had a hold over me almost every day of my life and sometimes the fear I may have it myself truly consumes me. I have yet to get tested and I honestly don’t know how to approach the whole subject and I don’t know if I have the guts to do it yet, I know this may seem ignorant but I’m afraid I will loose myself if this happens to be my fate. I need to be around for my family and I will do anything to assure this, I want to meet my children one day. I really hope that this field of medicine makes some progress, the lack of conversation regarding the topic is nerve racking none the less. To anyone else that may share my fear just know you are not alone, it is terrifying but it is a means to live your life with the greatest sense of purpose. P.S. Any input good or bad or anyone else who may have there own story to share is more than welcome, we’re truly all in this together.

How do you pre-screen for Parkinson's when healthcare policies won't cover it unless there are symptoms ?
@konedime2324 Жыл бұрын
We get rid of paralysis using a mixture of medicinal herb blended in olive oil, coconut oil, black seed oil and sunflower oil for massage as well as giving the patient some herbal medicine blended in honey. It has some other processes like steaming the patient using a hot vapour of a special plants leaves boiled in water. This disease is of two types according to me i.e 1, spiritual disease- attack by demons can cause this Parkinson disease. This is healed by use of spiritual cure. 2, Biological -this happens mainly to those people who have high/,low blood pressure. This is basically treated using the method of massage, steaming and giving the patient a mixture of several herbal medicine blended in honey. I therefore advise the researchers to visit Africa the mother of herbal medicine and learn more. Because you will never heal the spiritually caused Parkinson using modern medicine.

The poppy pods make a sound when shaken, just like a rocking human. The poppy pods resemble a human head. Poppy seeds are gray in color. The cells responsible for Parkinson's disease are the gray cells in the brain. Poppy seeds contain plenty of omega 3, which is beneficial for the brain. Sleep problems are common and problematic in Parkinson's patients. Poppy seeds have a narcotic and sedative effect. In insomnia, it is recommended to eat poppy seeds with sugar. Poppy is the most powerful sedative and pain reliever found in nature. One of the most common complaints of Parkinson's patients is pain. Depression and anxiety are common in Parkinson's patients. The psychoactive compounds found in poppy seeds can lift your mood by relaxing your muscles and mind. Like many powerful pain relievers, poppy seeds can provide a sense of euphoria or gratification that dispels depressive episodes and provides a burst of positivity. Today, Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, which are brain diseases, and glaucoma and macular degeneration (yellow spot disease), which are eye diseases, are considered as progressive disorders (neuro-degenerative) of nerve tissues. Loss of eye nerve fibers is important in the early diagnosis of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's diseases. Zinc and antioxidants in poppy seeds protect against eye diseases. I am not qualified to say that the cure for Parkinson's disease is hidden in the poppy plant, but I have the courage to dream.
