I ,as An Irish person would like to make the following comment regarding the above interview, and the more recent developments regarding the subject of the interview. Firstly it makes great drama to the people that are not fully educated about the Russian/Ukrainian conflict. Well before the conflict started back in 2014 ,I was totally ignorant about the conflict . Unlike many people ,and also people in Ireland ,i was determined to find out the truth ,and not totally swallow one side of the narrative ,once again like many Irish have done ,and apparently also the case with Mr Flynn. I could not accept ,and It made no sense to me ,that one morning Putin woke up and decide ,it might be a good Idea to Invade Ukraine ,for absolutely no reason. At this point the only narrative was that Putin was an aggressor and was hell bent on Invading Ukraine and after that would march further west and take not only the former Baltic countries that were within the USSR, and conquer more of western Europe. After that I read the other side of the narrative going back. and how much Western Ukraine ( Galesia) hated the Russians ,and fought on the side of Hitler against the USSR during ww2. Stepan Bandera. America with their desire to weaken/ brake up Russia ,were willing to exploit the conflict in Ukraine, as the were in many conflict around the world to his day. Expansion of NATO, Rejection of any logical security proposal for the entire European entity. Many times over the past several decades ,Putin's proposals were always rejected by the West. It is also well documented the Ukraine were willing ,at the early stages of the conflict to agree a peace proposal by Putin, but Boris Johnson was quick to once again reject this proposal. Even it is also documented that Ukraine were only buying time ,and building up defenses on the Donbas ,to eventually invade the Russian speaking people of the Donbas, when PUTIN decided to invade. Finally Mr Flynn should not only accepting one side of the Narrative, as he is in this interview and outline both sides ,and let the viewers decide the merits . This young man has been ill advised to fight a loosing battle ,thus causing his demise . There is absolutely no doubt in my mind ,after studying both sides ,that America is responsible for this conflict ,and have blood on their hands . Not only that but anyone that promoted the view that Russia invaded a democratic country ie Ukraine ,also has blood on its hands . I’m not convinced that Lucy is guilty. One of her main accusers was a consultant she had previously put in a complaint about for bullying. Her complaint against him was upheld and he was given a warning. He was not a happy man! He then becomes a witness for the prosecution. What is also concerning is that if you look at the stats, more babies died at the hospital when Lucy was not on shift, and those figures fall out with the period the prosecution chose to focus on. There appears to be a cover-up by the neonatal consultants at the hospital. Further, the notes Lucy wrote to herself were not a confession of guilt, but rather someone suffering deep trauma over the deaths of the babies. It’s not easy to watch a baby die. Perhaps Lucy was suffering from PTSD. I believe there are too many unanswered questions to consider this conviction safe. I’m pleased that other professionals are also beginning to question the evidence that led to her conviction.

Absolutely wrong ..she is innocent and thiis commentary is opportunistic, self serving and corrupt. The whole case is a set up and this criminal psychologist is a mere sick puppet of the establishment and the corrupt services inckyding the prosecuting team and the crown prisecution. Yes it is horrific what this woman did. But there is a great need that a review of her mindset be done by a non-prejudiced psychologist. And this may not happen anytime soon because, so far, every opinion i have seen or listened to is full of hatred/ malice/ evil-wishing. Cutting remarks like "self-pity is the only pity she feels" is not an unbiased remark - but perfectly understandable. What is NOT understandable, though, is HOW and WHY she was able to get away so many murders before being caught? Ok - hindsight is a wonderful knowledge. The parents of those murdered infants are not the only victims here. I am thinking of Lucy's parents (for example.) Also her work colleagues - those who never, in a million years, would have thought their beloved Lucy could even THINK of doing what she did - never mind actually carrying out her evil ideas. WHERE did this all start for her? Was it anything to do with (perhaps) being over-worked? Being in a highly responsible job which was also likely to need intense emotional attachment to tiny babies - and their parents - all totally dependent on her.. Some babies in these situations probably do die despite the best efforts of their medical team - Lucy must have had to deal with broken-hearted parents whose child had died of natural causes. I am sure that is a gut-wrenching experience for many nurses and doctors as well. And what of those babies who actually thrived in her care? To their parents, nurses - like Lucy - must seem like angels. But - what was it like for Lucy (or, indeed, any nurse) to have to part with this little one, with whom she (Lucy) had created a bond...? Not everyone is cut out to be a small-babies nurse. And prior to being suspected of murder, Lucy was a poster-girl for such nurses. The fact that she wept in court when her cats were mentioned: does that not indicate someone who is well able to make emotional attachments? I wonder is that what happened her? When she chose to be a smqll-babied nurse, part of the attraction was the chance to bond with these tiny, helpless little infants. It was INTENSE work. But. It was only a JOB. She had to learned to detach from from those babies - while off-duty, for instance. And when they were discharged to their parents, Lucy had to detach herself from them also. Perhaps we need to reconsider the vulnerability of nurses (and doctors) who are subjected to intense emotional rollercoaster- type involvement in the care of very ill patients? And give THEM an opportunity to weep/ voice any concerning, bewildering thoughts/ emotions they experience as a result of their high-pressure jobs. We need to be aware that nurses are human and sometimes humans feel unexpected emotions that they need real SUPPORT to know how to deal with - without the world being horrified to hear. And being open about these incongruous thoughts/ feelings ought to be encouraged rather than risk other Lucy Letbys rise through the ranks in a role that the vast majority of nurses would find emotionally overwhelming. She is paying with her freedom. Continuing to pour hate-filled criticism on her will not prevent another Lucy Lettby-like killer. We can deride her lack of empathy: that only reiterates a similar lack in ourselved.
