irrespective of self driving, put a complaint in ur county/city, the indicators that lane is an exit only lane doesn't exist and the symbol to turn is only at the end. thats just bad design

It looks like the nav is directing into the right lane for a right turn. You are apparently wanting to go straight. Is this a problem with the navigation you have an issue with?

This is still a tech in the works. Best thing is to report what happened and where it happened. I would hope there is a website to make such reports.

They are very good but there's always gonna be weird instances when a humans interpretation of the situation is gonna be better or maybe necessary. A human may see when an accident is about to happen, perhaps a kid on a bike is going fast, but goes behind a van for a moment so is not seen by the camera, but the human can sense the kid is gonna collide with the car after reappearing so they slow down in advance, but the computer might not have that kind of awareness.

Okay, so three things. First, thank you so much for this. I don't own a Tesla nor do I intend to buy one, but I consider it exceptionally important to know what other drivers on the road might do, especially Tesla drivers who put on full self driving mode and just go to sleep. Apparently Tesla patched that, but people in my area of Southern California have apparently figured out a work around as we see them sleeping all the time. Very scarry stuff. 2nd, that near miss at around the 15:00 minute mark was absolutely insane. 3rd, if you do have full self driving enabled, do you have any tips to allert a sleeping driver that they are approaching an area that they may want to be awake for. Honking horns tends to scare people...do you have any kind of better idea? Seriously, thank you for this series.

I wanted to see what was on the map when it chose to do what it did, but the camera pans away from the screen. Is the map inaccurate? FSD does weird things for me, too- one time, instead of taking my exit, it started taking the exit for a weigh station just before my exit.

THE POINT of the assisted Driving Software is to Help you Drive Better, NOT DRIVE YOU COMPLETELY. Had you put the blinker on while in the curve it would have gotten to the middle lane and stayed there. BUT YOU FAILED to teach it the road issues. Everyone who has the software are Additional Beta Testers/Teachers. NO Driving Softare is gonna know all the roads and the layouts. So for YOU to ASSUME thaey creators did it right you are just plain dumb. But you are a 20some that learn how to drive from TV.

The fact that people pay a premium to beta test these failed experiments and false promises is what unironically make Elon a good businessman
