Hi, congratulations for the tutorials and your skill. I'm new to painting. I wanted to ask you a few things: What brushes do you use? I saw that they have very long and thin tips. Can you give me the model so I can look for it on the internet to buy it? My problem is that I can't make thin, precise lines. Why don't you use washes? Are the base colors, highlights and shadows diluted with water? In summary the steps are: 1 - Base Color 2 - Dark shadow color 3 - Base Color 50% layer 50% 4 - Base Color 20% layer 80% 5 - Color Layer for final highlighting 6- Dark shadow color review 7 - Adjustments. My difficulty lies in applying steps 3, 4 and 5: Should I make increasingly narrower lines, or should I use glade shades to create a transition effect? Thank you and let me know the type of brushes, because I don't feel comfortable with the ones I have and I don't know which ones to get.

I picked up a GSW silver series a few weeks back out of curiosity, they are great, I went back and got another as like you mentioned they are a little smaller than you might expect. But excellent quality. I'm curious to try the gold series...

Definitely recommend the size 2! Best brush out of the set in my opinion because the tip is crisp for detail and the belly is large enough to hold lots of paint for general slapping of a base coat 👌
@stampy_miniatures6 ай бұрын
Really informative video 🙌🏻 I use a small wet pallet from army painter (A5) size and find it often too small so the GSW pallet looks like my next purchase. Love the Windsor and Newton brushes, I like to flip between the size 0 & 1, hardly use any other brushes now. Looking forward to your next video.

Can you explain your set up for your wet palette?
@miniwarpainter86648 ай бұрын
This was my first wet palette: www.amazon.co.uk/Sta-Wet-Handy-Palette-Stay-Wet/dp/B000C18GTE/ref=asc_df_B000C18GTE/?tag=googshopuk-21&linkCode=df0&hvadid=309858026828&hvpos=&hvnetw=g&hvrand=1045929129937717514&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=m&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9045662&hvtargid=pla-314205875880&psc=1 It served its purpose well, but there's better out there... The two key factors to look for when buying a wet palette are a good seal with the lid and a good size suitable for you. Large if you paint a lot, small if you travel a lot. With the above wet palette I would replace the sponge every other month, or when mold developed, with a cheap household sponge from Lidl. And the paper I use is baking paper from Tesco. Lately however I use a new one. Checkout my latest video: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/n72PnbqlptjXdqc.htmlsi=YXsomTnS8iWYgTvk it's a review on some green stuff world products... Amongst them is the wet palette I use now. It's huge and ideal for anyone who paints a lot. Let me know if this helps or not 👍
