Painting cloth is tough and difficult to make look good, especially if you're use to painting things the GW way. In this tutorial, I show you how capes and cloth should be painted, and how adding in a new colour to the recesses makes the mini look the Daemon of Slaanesh it really is... Enjoy!

One of the best tutorials on KZfaq. Well done. Also, I appreciate you showing the full glazing process and the mistake that happened. More KZfaq painters could learn from how you did this. Can’t wait to try the technique on my Templars.

This was such a helpful tutorial! I’ve not got a keeper of secrets, but I’ve got some friends that want some big magical characters painting so will definitely be applying this sort of theory in the glazing to those minis.

Yes they are , I prefer them over citadel have you tried the sable's blue label ones .

Great tutorial, insane amount of work but it looks bloody brilliant, I'll give it a bash when I have some big models to paint, step by step guide was ace and very clear with what paint to use on the display which was handy too 👍👍 👍

Hey this is a great vid too! Hadn't seen a slaanesh cape done in this style, it's a solid tutorial on the texture work too. I may have to try some cloth in your style. Curious to see how the keeper turned out when completed too! Maybe it's in your instragram somewhere, I'll look.
