The topic of serotonin and its effects on the body, particularly in the gut and brain, is quite nuanced. 1. **Gut Serotonin**: Most of the body's serotonin (about 90-95%) is produced in the gut. This serotonin is primarily used for regulating gut movements and functions. It plays a role in controlling bowel movements, digestion, and local muscle contractions in the digestive system. It also influences appetite, pain sensation, and the maintenance of the gut's mucosal lining. 2. **Brain Serotonin**: The serotonin in the brain, produced by neurons in the central nervous system, is crucial for regulating mood, anxiety, and happiness. It also affects sleep, memory, and appetite. The blood-brain barrier prevents serotonin produced in the gut from directly entering the brain. Thus, the serotonin produced in the gut and the brain serves different functions and does not cross over to serve the other's roles. However, there is some communication between the gut and the brain, known as the gut-brain axis. This interaction involves neural, hormonal, and immune pathways. Although gut-produced serotonin doesn't directly enter the brain, it can influence brain function indirectly through these pathways. In summary, while gut-produced serotonin is vital for digestive functions, the brain-produced serotonin is key for mood regulation and other neurological functions. They operate in separate but interconnected systems within the body.

I'm sure they have some crossover knowledge but I'm immensely skeptical of anything a Chiro says. The general public may think a Chiropractor is a positive sign of medical credibility but most educated people know it's quite the opposite. Knees over toes guy is legit though

Other way round. In 2018 I had a 10 d Corona smash. Shortly after this I could only walk 50m. After that I went to bed. In 2023 I walked 1100 km as total from April to September. Until July 2024 I caught 700 km. The average speed raised from below 2 km/h up to 5 km/h. Average step length raised from 71cm to 79 cm. I want to state : start NOW. Just do less than you can in the beginning. Sooner or later you catch up !!! Big surprise. It is you !

In 2019 I suffered from Corona. After 10 days I felt really bad. I had a 50m walk. After that I went to bed fir the rest if the day. I never wanted to haplen thus again. So I started sift walking and strechting. Last year I got a smart watch. I went 1100 km in 2023. Thus year I caught akready 700 km in July. My step length grew from 71cm to 79cm. My speed increased. Sone tips : start with low expectations. Raise number of steps/length continuosly. Asca beginner you will have enourmous gains. Enjoy nature....

I just got a small treadmill that is super portable and have been walking backwards on it for a week. I have walked backwards in the past for kneee pain and it does work. I play basketball and I feel it is a must for players to know about walking backwards and it’s benefit for strengthening the knee.

I love the taste but didn't eat it regularly. That's changed since I heard it has benefits of strengthening your veins and breaking up clots. Having had a heart attack in March 2024 I am looking for natural foods that will do the same thing as the pills they put me on so I can stop taking them. Heidi

Easiest way to avoid fake extra virgin oil is to avoid Italian oil or oils processed in Italy. Almost all the fakery is Italian mafia based. If you choose Greek oil and check it's produced and packed/bottled in Greece.

The farm shop probably doesn’t use industrial farming methods and so it is more ethical and yes it is probably more local and that is so important right now but I am not sure why the price would be higher if there is no middleman, travel fuel expenses or corporation or employees to pay.

I think it BECAUSE they don’t use traditional farming methods which means it takes longer. For example it’s much quicker to fatten a cow fed on grain compared with grass. I’m trying to find a farmer to come onto my podcast soon so I can learn more of what goes on in farming.
