I really wish they’d do a remake of jet moto 1 & 2 like they did with the tony hawk remake. That series was awesome and would have tons of potential for a remake. I love the ps1 games but with better graphics and the problems ironed out would be a dream.

I really appreciate your effort, but how do you think the audience can hear the difference in the sound when you use a camera sort of microphone and your acoustic string sound is more prominent than the actual driven distorted sound? You should really mic up the cabinet if you want to anyone to judge the sound difference or just use DI out with some IRs
@TwistedIdentity
@TwistedIdentity 2 күн бұрын
@@elektrar9620 the reason why I did that is because I wanted to give an idea about how things sound in the room, when things are close miced it can sound pretty artificial even if it isn't, though next time I'm thinking I might actually blend the camera audio with a close mic. The next review I do I'll be experimenting with that

In my direct experience, the M30 was drastically worse than both (i) the Big6 and (ii) the BrawlerGen -however, a fan of my channel wrote in to say that the early M30 model I reviewed is not (internally) identical to the ones being manufactured today, and that improvements at the factory were made (empirically, I do not know if this is true, but that's what a fan of my channel told me). The Big6 running through a wire on original hardware would have zero input lag: _do not kid yourself_ about Bluetooth, it has *guaranteed* lag of some significance. I would assume this model of the M30 has input lag in all scenarios, TBH. 😕
@TwistedIdentity
@TwistedIdentity 4 күн бұрын
That sucks that you had bad experience with yours, mine was absolutely fine both this time and when I owned one in 2019. Ya saw on video its an immediate response whenever I hit a button. That said though, yes any wireless device even 2.4ghz will have input lag, there's no way around it without going wired. However what's more important (to me) is, can you actually feel that lag. It sometimes can depend on your environment and the monitor itself. Not sure what ya got in your setup but I know older LCD monitors and TV's are awful with retro systems in general when it came to latency. In the mid to late 2000's to me they were basically unusable for gaming. I'm surprised I didn't have any considering I've got a big magnet (that studio monitor speaker) as well as my monitor right up next to my antenna. I have a Big 6 too though that's a cool controller :) Did a review vid on that one as well. Thanks for watching!

Have owned many high end usa and Japanese guitars...but the imports are so good I'm mostly just buying those now. They aren't as conistsent, but when you get a good one, there is no really drawbacks and sometimes I even prefer a cheaper guitar. My LTD JM-II is one of the best guitars I've ever owned at any price. I had this exact E-II model and I almost loved it. However, the top carve really dug into my arm when playing while standing. I did like the thicker neck, though.

Amazing video. I greatly appreciated the detailed walkthrough during the comparison, as that's what I look for in one, especially as you state the subtleties which won't be found by just comparing specs online. In my experience, I've never had/tried a Korean guitar which has had perfect binding. Yes, it's being nit-picky, but you're the first person I've seen actually inspect it and discuss it. Interesting about the side dots though. Thanks

That's quite an impressive retro gaming collection and setup you got there, my dude. Another fun fact about the Pseudo Saturn Cart is that it allows you to play Japanese imports. I love how their hell of a lot cheaper than the US copies. You even have the 360 Sega Saturn pad which must be a dream to play Nights into Dreams with (no pun intended). But, I do own Virtual On: Cyber Troopers with a pair of Twin Sticks. They also work with the Japanese exclusive Gundam Side Stories 1-3. Both amazing mech games. War Gods is one of my guilty pleasures. Good to know that someone else enjoys it aside from my bro and a couple of my friends. Voodoo and Cy-5 are my boys!!

how do you reset/calibrate analog sticks on that logitech wireless ps2 controller? i have one but it has drifting. A nd you should get sturdier shelfs and a room for the games being stored that aren't in use. And some Sterilite 3 drawer containers to hold spare or niche controllers (good to keep dust out of em) And all dreamcasts have "backup support", you just may need to use things like Utopia Boot Disc on some of them.
@TwistedIdentity
@TwistedIdentity 17 күн бұрын
For calibrating I'm not sure to be honest, I've never had to with those Logitechs. And I'm in a small apartment, I have no other room, or really any space left in this room for more shelving. I will eventually need to get creative and figure something out though. I have Sterilite drawers which alot of my controllers are in as you can see in the video, I just like having the ones I use regularly out and ready to go. The arcade sticks and whatnot are typically in the drawer I just had them out to show in the video And for Dreamcasts having backup support, yeah I know, what I meant was that you don't even need a boot disc for mine.

@@TwistedIdentity Vertical height is your best friend. Large bookshelfs (5 to 6 ft ones) make for great game storage (though they are often able to handle a ps2 game 2 layers deep) And you could use a bigger apartment or to rent a proper home for more space.
