What helped Maul is that he became a better character because of his resurrection. And his supposed death was such a big driving force ever since he returned. To be honest, Maul wasn’t much of a character prior to the clone wars.

The problem was they built so much relationship connections throughout the show just to end it in a fast way. It felt nice and slow through development then just a rushed ending which shouldn’t have been the ending

Everything about this show is great except for the writing. This is some of the worst writing I've ever seen. You could pick out decisions made in every episode that are just baffling. The space whales, a general taking her child on a life threatening adventure for no reason, creatures that supposedly live on a beach under shells but yet have clothes that are tailored made, bad guys who won't kill good guys, ships getting shot by other ships for zero damage, it's just trash writing.

The elves all look like hobbits, except when they look like Haradrim. Terrible casting.

The sequels are genuinely bad movies when you look at them through any lens. The prequels are flawed but there's tons to love about each of them, they have substance and real passion. And I highly doubt the sequels will be looked at in a different light the way the prequels are today. There's just too much different about the two trilogies and the way they were viewed on release. I would bet real money that the sequels will still be just as disliked 20 years from now as they are today

In Season 1 Episode 35 of Sailor Moon, Tuxedo Mask dies (or nearly dies) after defending sailor moon and she realizes that she really loves him. Kanan and Hera have the same moment where in they realize they love one another but that love all meets up at one point and where Kanan dies. It’s where they’ve been through so much and then it’s feels like it’s all gone that makes it sad and such a great scene for a new beginning or chapter

Never thought i could learn from a cgi fictional ape

The best scenes for me in the last Jedi are both the throne room battle and the twin sunsets with Luke. Just Loved the build up of Rey and kylos team up with them realizing that they are two sides of the same coin. And the twin sunsets which if you didn't noticed is framed with Luke on the right and the sun's on the left. Where as in a new hope Luke was on the left and the suns on the right showing how the end of his journey ends how it started.

Never been a vocal detractor of the Snyder verse. I’ve always felt like I understood his decisions. Even if they weren’t ones I would personally make. But ultimately that’s my real issue. I’ve never liked that his vision was what would go on to be the general audience’s perception of the DCU and its heroes. The SV seems much more like a 12 issue mini series than what should be the mainline continuity. In fact I think Zack works much better in a place where he is able to tell his story how he wants beginning middle and end. Nothings off limits. Which is why it makes me really happy that The DCU is embracing Elseworlds. Allowing for creators to play in the DC sandbox in fun and interesting ways. Without getting bogged down or effecting the mainline continuity.

Idk I don’t think so, because of what Caesar said after letting koba die, I don’t think that ape means a literal ape, but I think it’s more of a saying that brings them together and something that is better than humans. A reminder of what he said “you are not ape” to koba (paraphrasing). But idk I might have understood it wrong, or this may have became his own understanding of his own teachings after what koba did to him

My personal favorite trilogy of all time because each film is great independently while also having so much cohesion at the same time really feeling like one overarching story of Caesar. It’s also the perfect balance of a great blockbuster they are able to have apes using guns, riding horses, and talking and have it not feeling overly goofy.
