Hi, Unsettling of trade happens usually in back office, where a trade settled in internal system is opened to make it unsettled reflecting that said trade may not have settled in market. This trade is still a valid (failing) trade. Cancellation of trade however happens at front office, where trader cancels the order in Front Office system and the cancellation then flows down to downstream MO and BO systems. Hi Deepak, When a trade is settled with both stock and cash simultaneously, it is called a cash trade. For seller it will be DVP (Delivery Vs Payment) and for buyer it will be RVP(Receive Vs Payment) cash trade. Hope this clarifies. Team Capital Markets Easy

F/O executes trade and how does this flow to M/O. I mean how do they get this info? Is there a mechanism for sure? And when you say trade booking @ M/O how do they do it don't get the trade from F/O in their system or they need to book a completely new trade? Where is the trade Enrichment part then?

@@capitalmarketseasy totally agree with ur point but as it's a BPO most of them told me it is not counted in corporate finance roles (Core finance roles)

It is a KPO (Knowledge Process Outsourcing) not a BPO, if you are in the right process/profile you can learn key nuances of Finance and Financial products. Obviously organisations mostly do not teach a lot, it is upto individuals to understand what they do and seek knowledge from outside world to upgrade themselves.
