it's wonderful ! it looks far less intimidating to sew a coat once the different steps are actually laid out. beautiful work ☺
@Lauren_Horrell4 ай бұрын
Thank you 😊 yes I found breaking down the steps definitely helped! And over a few days so I didn’t get overwhelmed 😂

Beautiful coat! ❤ I'm working up the courage to make myself a blazer for the first time!

Thank you ❤️ you should definitely give it a go as your next project!! The getting the points on the lapel was definitely the most difficult part, so be ready with the unpicked 🫣

I cant help but to think of the Dolly Parton song Coat of Many Colors. It's a beautiful song about when she was young and poor. Her mom made her a coat of scraps and called it a "Coat of Many Colors." If youve never heard it, then it is worth listening to at least once. You might get a new appreciation for your patchwork coat. It came out beautifully. I made the song reference because i like it and the song is a good classic country song.

RL is my favorite. I want to do this w a⁵ RL jacket pattern. I have a sizzix cutting machine and a 4.5" square die so I could cut my squares a bit faster. This would be nice In a red white and blue for the summer holidays. (I'm in PA, it's always cold here.)😂

What is the tool that you use to get the amount of stitches and rows that you need for the project after making the sample swatch?
