Great flights Braden. Don't worry about the Fat boy, you'll fix it fairly easily. The Krakken looks cool.

Im pretty sure Any altitude above 30K MSL requires GPS data tracker packet downloaded for the recorded data as the recorded Altitude for any TRA records.
@RocketVlogs23 сағат бұрын
There was no record attempt here.
@VikingRocketeer23 сағат бұрын
@RocketVlogs even in general, most flights over that 30k msl level most flyers utilize the same GPS data as the preferred data.

I checked the rules. No GPS data required.
@VikingRocketeer2 сағат бұрын
@ericbeavers4769 what rules did you check? Tripoli Rocketrty Contest rules require any flight over 30k ft MSL requires an approved GPS unit for altitude verification. The GPS unit must be on their list. Plus for it to be an altitude attempt you have to declare it as an attempt before the flight. Requiring specific witness of Prefect or TAP. The application for altitude attempt even shows the requirement for GPS for a flight over 30k msl

I really like the way they improved the old Lawn Darts game. We used to just throw them straight up and see who chickened out of the circle first, but this is so much better.

"It was infact not fine" 😂 i did something stupider that weekend with my main chute on my mach 2. I had taped the main chute tight just for storage and completly forgot to untape it. Also broke two fins on landing.

I love these vids. Do you have to get FAA clearance to launch that high since that is in the civilian airline range? Wondering how intense it is to get more into rocket building.

What an absurd comment. "Why" and "allowed"? First, because it's fun and a satisfying accomplishment to see your work fly high and straight. Second, why wouldn't I be allowed to fly my rocket? I'm allowed to fly a private airplane.
