What if you live in the same home with a man who already has 2 teens from another woman, even if they broke up 13 years ago, i come in their lives 3 years ago, and moved in 2 years ago, and still feel rejected, unwanted, like im bothering them, they’re annoyed of me, they have never asked anything about me and who i am and where i come from, and even i tell all that to my bf, he doesn’t do anything, saying im the adult here and it is my job to break the ice, but everyone around me tell me to leave them be and not to go fast and let them come to me but still have not changed since i started going out with their dad? But have no money to move out yet… and rent is extremely high right now… and my job doesn’t pay a lot… what do i do….

Thank you for this video I just put my dog to sleep 3 days ago. I feel like a monster. I feel like it was the wrong decision. I feel terrible admit. I'm miserable. The mornings at the nights have been the worst. I'm blind, so pictures aren't really helping, but it's cool when people describe them to me. Put watching videos and hearing her bark. It's great, but. Once the video ends, I just feel the emptiness again. But after seeing this video I did c. That I guess she had all 6 of those things. She was about to be 11 years old next month. I just feel like if I had the money to do all the treatments and the tests. There was a possibility to save her and since I couldn't afford a bunch of that. I want West putting her to sleep. I feel like I gave up on her. I'm sorry I'm sorry. Xena

First I want to thank you for starting this KZfaq channel. I just found you. Divorce after 40 years of marriage. A little over a year now. Signs that I’m starting to heal. 1. Listening to the radio too 2. Watch a movie with relationships. 3. Read a book. 4. Join a yoga class. 5. Have and make weekly goals. 6. Not the first thing I think about when I wake up, or last thing I think before going to sleep. The biggest healing for me.

No matter if you’re been called infertile or whatever, after reading Dobbie Nerkstrol's guide, I ended up pleasantly surprised. Within 60 days anyone can get pregnant, feeling the changes in your body the first few weeks. After go’ogling her I understood it's not a miracle kind of thing like the title suggests, but you can bet you'll boost your chances.

Sibling estrangement always reflects the dysfunctional parents. Very common: one child tries to cope one way, another sees it not working and tries something else. Sometimes they are played against one another.

What poor advice, but that's to be expected of women who rely mostly on how things must feel. Men know they got to eat less and hit the gym in this kind of a situation. Women pander to each other and almost always blame men for having preferences (like women have to and many of them). Lady, do yourself a favour: eat less and hit the gym (this also applies to your husband and men in general)!

The problem with these videos is the woman always describes her new found hobbies, etc. Why didn't you do these before you destroyed your man??? These videos are very, very dangerous. Men: watch out. She's bored and unhappy. And it is unlikely she will suggest counselling. Instead, you'll lose absolutely everything.

We just had to rehome our fur baby yesterday. He is a male Maltese, 9 years old & so full of energy & life. I was so heartbroken over it… I cried so much saying goodbye. I am still heartbroken & I know it will take time. We had him before we had our two kids. One of our children has special needs & needs extra care, time & therapies. We just couldn’t keep up with our energetic, playful pup & give him the love & attention he needs. His new owner is a sweet man who I know loves him & will give him what he needs. Thank you for this video…

I had to put mine in a shelter so the pain is great. But worse because they already trying euthanize him and only been a week (kill shelters). I thought he would get a month atleast. I even thought on trying to get him back but I know I can’t. It won’t work in long term, financially and just the energy I have to give him the exercise needed. He a Weimaraner mix and they need to run free not in kennel 24/7. People make me feel like shit online but I’m doing my best and they could always help and get him. But they won’t, so they are just trolls with no remedy but to hurt others. I’m really heart broken and feel I could die and low key hate myself. But I hope in time I will be alright. I didn’t adopt him I got him as a stray as a baby so he wouldn’t die. The worst part is not being his forever home, I told him I would be. And I can’t after 7months, devastating as this is. I know I loved him.

Paying more than the value of the home is never a good move no matter what country you reside in. Glad you like your home in spite of all the mistakes you made. But one thing I wish you focused on is regardless of who is the breadwinner in the marriage is, take a strong role in the household finances.
@LaurieSheBlossoms
@LaurieSheBlossoms Ай бұрын
I'm glad I like my condo, too 🙂 I agree that knowing household finances is a very smart, intelligent, responsible thing for anyone to do - man or woman! That was my mistake. However, I've done alot of research into property assessments and market prices. When the condo or housing market is frothy and unpredictable, buyers often pay higher than the property assessment. I know I'm paying annual property tax on the assessed value of the condo, which is lower than what I bought the condo for. Some things we just can't control. In this case, I was aware I was paying over assessment value, but I also knew I had no choice. There is another bungalo condo for sale in my community, and the asking price is $420,000. I don't know the property assessment of that condo, but it has to be about $100,000 less! Will those sellers get $420,000? No way. But they'll probably get over the assessment value. It's crazy, how the housing and condo market works.

Dear Laurie. Your home looks wonderful. It is BIG. My house here in Arizona has 1297 sq/ft. Yours is almost double!!! Your advice about the purchasing of a home is right on. If I may, Laurie, whatever you write on your blog, is helpful and appropriate...for men as well. I know, you are a woman, you had a husband. Of course, you see life through your very own eyes. And as a woman. But men do end up in the exact same situations. For example, I have made so many mistakes every single time I bought a property. Whatever the trolls crap here, we as human beings get excited about everything, and get carried away... And yes, owning a house is super expensive and super stressful. The best advice, I think, is to have a very "knowledgeable" friend with you every time you might break the bank and make a big purchase.

Thank you! Your advice about having a knowledgeable, objective friend to offer insight and a different perspective is right on target. I tend to rely on my instincts more than other people's advice, though. The future is unknown and there are so many possibilities! No matter how smart anyone is or how much due diligence is done, there is always the possibility of making a mistake. And I appreciate you saying that my condo mistakes and tips is helpful for men, too. I have many male blog subscribers and KZfaq friends, and sincerely value everyone's presence and contribution. "Midlife Blossoms" may have to enter a non-binary, gender-neutral, all orientations eagerly welcomed perspective 🙂 Again, thank you for your thoughts. Stay in touch!

Thanks for making an advice on buying a condo. I'd like to add get your own inspector. Don't use one your agent recommends. He/she may be more aligned with the agent than you. And the rule about renovations cost twice as much and takes twice as long as you think IS true!
@LaurieSheBlossoms
@LaurieSheBlossoms Ай бұрын
Yes, getting your own home inspector (not one recommended by the realtor) is a great tip. I didn't get this condo inspected, but in the past I had a house inspected before buying it. The inspection didn't reveal anything new or wrong with the house, but it gave us peace of mind. Yes, I've heard how long and expensive renovations can be. I've never done one, but I've had neighbors who have. It's worth it in the long run, but what a hassle in the meantime!
@travelfrog888
@travelfrog888 Ай бұрын
So so true. One of the last home I purchased, I blind-fully took my realtor "package" as a given. His choice for a pest inspection company, his inspector for the house inspection. The pest control company lied 100% and came up with $10,000 worth of work needed. The house inspector didn't check the whole house fan, the tub/jacuzzy, the ceiling fans etc... It was embarrassing to negotiate with the sellers and ask for a discount for termites... I ended up doing all of these inspections myself. I was in construction and I am a DIY fellow. I went into the house crawl space and there was ZERO termite issue. The house was as sound as it could be. Yet, I found a few problems with things the inspector totally missed. I was so choked and disappointed with my realtor choices for inspections for me, the buyer. Even when presented with the incompetence and out right lies of "his" associates, my realtor never even apologized. Bottom line, as suggested here, hire your very own companies to do the various inspections needed.

Wow you made some mistakes. You can’t get attached to a home until it passes inspection and you have researched future fees. Aging in place is. A good idea to think about your situation and your health. You have to make this a business decision and make sure it works out in the end. Everyone needs an emergency fund for issues like unemployment if you don’t plan to retire. I am almost divorced and I plan to wait until the market is better and I know where I want to move. Making a decision while in the thick of an emotionally charged situation will not be a sound situation.
@LaurieSheBlossoms
@LaurieSheBlossoms Ай бұрын
Thank you - I should've consulted you before making the offer! 🙂Seriously. I didn't get a home inspection (I should've included "get a condo inspection" as one of my tips) because I knew it would pass. Risky, but I've had no problems after almost a year. And the fellow who lived here before me as an older widower who kept everything in immaculate shape. Your idea of researching future condo fees is a good one. But even now it'd be hard to determine exactly how much and when they'll go up. I can only assume there will be increased fees, as everything gets more expensive! And the buildings are relatively old. I wish you all the best as you plan your next move after your divorce. You are a very smart woman -- making a decision like this when you're in an emotionally charged season of life is dangerous! It could be one of the biggest condo-buying mistakes a woman makes. Trusting my instincts wasn't a mistake in this case, but I can see how it could be a huge problem. I was lucky.

Your place is really nice. I had a condo but it didn't have a basement. It had a nice layout but built in the 90 builder grade so needed some updates. Once you move then you really see the spots that don't work as well like entering the laundry room from the garage it was tight space. I like your door area, nice light and outdoor space
