Exciting! it is my first time watching a grand prix season in real time - I haven't followed skating in 25 years! I am both excited and nervous for everyone, there are too many people to root for!

It’s great to hear from Tatjana! I hoping to hear some juicy tidbits about the skaters training in Europe and the Russian skaters as well in the coming programs. A little suggestion, would Tatjana consider using a microphone that picks up her voice more clearly. Her voice is rather muffled and I really need to concentrate to pick up the words.
@diekatzelucindafigureskati44375 күн бұрын
Thanks. I realized only later that the microphone didn't pick up my voice so well. Not sure what happened there, I didn't realize this problem before.

Just FYI, Neset and Markelov got married before the GP assignments came out. Though I have enjoyed your interviews with them because they are so sweet to each other. I’ve been an American ice dance fan for decades, so I’m super-excited not to have to hold my breath for once as a strong junior team transitions to senior.
@dsfddsgh7 күн бұрын
I think N/M are the strongest US Junior team to move up in over a decade. And that's saying something with all of the US teams that have won the Junior World champions in that time.
@theinvisiblegirlmh7 күн бұрын
One decade? The last time was *this* excited about a team, it was Silverstein and Pekarek….and well, they didn’t have a personality match (like most US junior teams) that allowed them to weather the transition to senior. While I adore B/A and D/W, they didn’t have nearly the connection or chemistry as juniors (which makes sense, since they married other people) that N/M have now.

@debralastnamestanding596918 күн бұрын
@@IVvOOvVIThey are getting married June 1st of this year in her hometown of Minot, ND. They have a registry on "The Knot" that has great pictures and a cute bio of their relationship. After skating together and Artem living with her and her family for 4 years, I'm sure that they know each other quite well despite everyone giving their 'too young' opinion. I love their story and their skating and wish them the best.

@kpoknows23892 ай бұрын

Just a correction the last time France reached top 5 at Europeans in ladies was in 2019 when Laurine Lecavalier finished 5th, identical to Lorine this year.
