What the heck i don't understand, is how, one is supposed to afford gear for following a build, with seasons wiping your chests, and or, starting a completely new character... what in the fk am I supposed to do? Like 3:33 - how do you get chaos orbs w/o ever playing, or starting a new league? I don't understand...

So everyone starts a new league from scratch, and the vast majority of builds don't require any trading to get through the campaign, and often times to get through early maps just fine. By the time you've finished the campaign you usually have several chaos orbs, and if you're really lucky, maybe a divine orb or two. It's all just RNG. But as you play more, and advance further into the endgame content, you'll naturally acquire more currency, which you then reinvest into your character, so you can do harder content, so you can earn more currency, etc, etc. But yeah - right out of the gate of a new league or just starting the game you won't have anything. And that's OK! By the time you NEED to trade for any particular gear, you'll probably have the currency to do so (within reason, of course). Hope that helps!

This may be late, but I gotta share it. I was playing Webber and was starting to get more used to fighting the Giants. I decided to take on Deerclops and absolutely destroyed him but as a final "F you" from Deerclops himself my game game crashed and he refused to respawn after I logged back it.

For the Wall of Flesh?! Titanium is a hardmode ore you only have access to after defeating the Wall, so not sure how you would get it before!

I find Skeletron MUCH easier than the Brain Of Cutulhu, Im not joking. I recently made a new expert world and once I got a full set of Fossil Armor, I summoned Skeletron for the 3rd time and killed Skeletron, and also I defeated Skeletron before I even killed the Brain Of Cutulhu. Even in Master mode, I struggle with the Brain Of Cutulhu more than Skeletron, in Master mode it took Me about 20 attempts to finally kill the Brain but it took Me only about 5 or 7 attempts on Master mode Skeletron. I recommend beating Skeletron first IF you are a ranger or even a melee, since you will have access to the dungeon and you can now access very good loot that can take down the Brain in no time! (But I only recommend killing Skeletron first IF it is a Crimson world because in My opinion, the Brain is harder than Skeletron). And I usually only fight the queen slime once I have defeated a Mech boss.

That's one of the nice things about a lot of the bosses in this game - you can often times do them in whatever order you want!

@@salendrak Optional bosses are the goat. But I will say something, in Expert, Skeletron Prime in My opinion is the easiest Mech boss ONLY when it comes to expert or lower, in fact I beat him 1st try, AND I beat him again and killed him without dying(though he almost killed Me in My 2nd time beating him), I recently beat The Twins 1st try, they were a lil bit trickier altough Im used to all the Mech bosses attacks. In fact one of My favorite bosses in Terraria are the Mech bosses, My favorite is The Twins and in fact Im SO OBSESSED to the Mech bosses that I got really good at the Mech bosses........ well other than the Destroyer. Idk why but I ABSOLUTELY STRUGGLE WITH THE DESTROYER, even when using the most OP weapons and I don't really like cheesing cause Im too lazy making the contraptions and stuff.

Loved how you covered your eyes every time you killed the bunnies lol. Rabbits don't fill your tummy very much, but they are the only animals you can easily kill before you cure guts for a bow or find a rifle. Rifle can spawn in the trapper's hut. If you want I can give you better directions but it's somewhere to right from the tunnel entrance - the one you took to another region - but don't go into the tunnel! I do agree about the chance of fire starting is bull. The skill should level up way faster IMO, as you said it takes just couple of successes and you know how to do it IRL.

There are more rabbit groves scattered around the region, but I remember just two more from the top of my head. One is close to the trapper's hut mentioned above. One you enter by climbing a rope near the cottages on the other side of the lake.

I probably should add a graphic violence warning label to the stream LOL I'm fine with other pointers on where to go! I listened to a Zaknafein video yesterday while mowing the lawn. There were a few good pointers in it but mostly it was stuff I had already figured out. One point he made though is that really the only way to learn the map is to play the game, and locations and likely places to find good resources are pretty much always the same. He also did something with torches to light fires, so I'll definitely give that a try!

The jumping doesn't bother me all that much. Jumping in snow when wearing lots of snow gear isn't easy! But now being able to climb over a tree truck on the ground? That's just crazy talk!

Sure! I don't think I covered it in this video as most people take out the eater before they do much or any real exploration of the jungle. But it's a very strong weapon, so go for it!

Spend soo long in hard mode ranger only without beating a single boss, after watching this video i beat queen slime first try easily on expert. Wings are really great, especially second phase, maneuver with wings as he does in the video

Hey, I still have a question I bought ds alone bundle bc it was on sale on steam. And now I wanna buy dst to play with friends... And I saw that, when you buy dst it comes with an extra copy to gift it to a friend? Like, how does that work?

You'll have an extra copy in your Steam inventory (under your username along the top menu bar thingy) that you can then send to someone as a gift. Pretty sweet deal!

I planted blinkroot in a planterbox with 2 blocks above and waited 40 minutes and it still hasnt grown, can someone help me to make it grow/ fix the problem?

Blinkroot are totally random. They'll go into and out of bloom whenever they want, and I saw one go into bloom once and then back out before I could run over and harvest it! The only way to consistently harvest more fully grown blinkroot is to plant MOAR blinkroot. So any time you see them in bloom in caves, be sure to grab them until you've got plenty planted!

I have a 3 storey mansion with complicated building patterns that I cannot just memorize and blindly reproduce. Is it now impossible for me to effectively move that fortress to another location?

Not impossible, but WAY easier to relocate than how it was before this feature was added! I get a lot of comments from people expecting that it would just carbon copy your whole base from one location to another, but if you think about it, the different castle plots are all different shapes and sizes, so a carbon copy just wouldn't work for any decently sized base. Is the system perfect and able to do exactly what everyone wants it to do? No. Is it SOOOOOO much better than how it was before? Absolutely YES!

Hmmm - are you talking about a roof? If so, those are dynasty shingles, sold by the travelling merchant. They come in two colors by default, but you can also paint them.

I need help, I put everything down but I still have mandatory structures. I removed all the production stuff to fix this and just kept the storage chest at old base but still not enough mandatory strucutres. Do i need anything else

Just gotta figure out which mandatory structure hasn't been placed yet. Helps if you go through them in order, that way its harder to accidentally miss one.

Building the castle from zero would be having to gather all the materials and have them in your inventory, transport them from the old spot, then build the castle. Which is basically how moving a castle used to be done. So no. It's not building from zero 😉

Best bang for your buck can't really be the DST when you can get DS for only 2$/€ on sale.

Cost isn't the only factor though - dollar for dollar (or other currency of choice lol) you get a LOT more content from just DST than you do from just DS with no expansions. DST also regularly goes on sale. Either way though, they're both great options and great value!

Yeah - it's really easy to miss something and then be really frustrated trying to figure out where you went wrong. It would be nice if they increase the contrast to make it way more obvious.

In these situations it might be worth starting over (depending on how much stuff you need to move). Alternatively, go back through the list of every item one at a time in order, and eventually you'll find it!
