I was on the Carni diet and hospitalized after 14 days, I did it wrong, not enough water, not enough salt and not enough fat, also kept drinking English teas and some honey inside, my bp 200, creatinine thru the roof, cholesterol high and had to have my kidneys checked, so if Carni is done wrong it can be problematic, no I didn't have the jab. I agree, many videos show super healthy guys and if you don't feel great you start to question if this is for you, I've been there, now I'm ketovore, some ppl have to be careful or carefully tailor their Carni or Ketovore diet. I have Histamine intolerance and wondered why I felt sick when I started eating beef and other meats, other genetic factors can make it very hard to do Carni, such as Hemochromatosis etc. Well done my friend.

I'm not sure when the term "balanced diet" entered the language but the first reference I know of is from an arctic explorer in the 1920s. He described a balanced diet as fat and protein. He did a control study with a colleague. Look up Vilhjalmur Stefansson and the Bellevue study.

I am in my 70s. To me it is much harder for me because I was not an outdoor person. I have gone river rafting and other trips sleeping in a tent in a group setting where meals were provided in my younger days. I am not sure I want to rough it in my age. I don't think I could go on a long trips in a van without all the comforts and necessities: Shower and bathroom. I work as a professional and I am not a handy man. I would have hard time to decide what vehicle to buy: Truck camper, travel trailer, van? To me a 16 - 18 feet trailer would serve my needs, but I would have to buy a bigger tow vehicles. I estimated it would cost over $50,000+ total - New SUV and used trailer.. All the above are not cheap and camp ground cost are very expensive. I would not buy anything used as I do not want to break down and stranded somewhere. I think 62 is too old to go on adventures as older people are too sensitive to climate changes. You should rent an RV or a trailers to see how you like the positive/negative life style. Forget about your grand kids. You have to be on your own. Many chose to live in car/van/RV because they couldn't afford regular housing.

@@freeheartsmovement hopefully you’re ketovore/carnivore will get those iron levels up. I’ve been ketovore with many slip-ups around holidays, vacations etc. but my labs improved dramatically. My ldl cholesterol went up a bit but so did my HDL. My triglycerides went down 100 points, bone density went up, coronary artery scan went from mild plaque to zero plaque, gums improved, and I just had a mammogram today and it showed way, way less calcifications than the last couple of them. That one shocked me. Is that one a result of eating beef daily or taking K2MK7 which is also touted as a plaque preventer/remover. I’m going to be 75 in a couple of months and I feel like 50.

You're still detoxing so you might see a few skin issues as toxins leave the body. Try not to eat products with more than 2 ingredients and keep up with your electrolytes (which also help with detox). Crystal light is no bueno and will make you feel like butt. Replace it with a flavored electrolyte mix like redmond Relyte which uses stevia. My family likes the strawberry lemonade. I would also dump the nuts, focus on eating until full. If you're snacking, you're not getting enough nutrition in.

@@freeheartsmovement My Pleasure. I learned the hard way 🤣 Sodium is very important to balancing your hydration which is why most electrolytes are high in it. Try not to drink too much plain water as it flushes out all your electrolytes and keeps you in a state of dehydration. You may find you need more electrolytes in the beginning and the amount goes down as inflammation goes down. Go by how you feel. Dizziness, headaches, muscle cramping, etc. are all signs of low electrolytes/salt.

DON'T PANIC! You've barely started and your body is making the necessary changes. It may well be that you're adapting real quick and your body didn't like the careless snack on the sugary pork rinds. I got stuck in a social situation a couple of weeks ago and went to an off plan restaurant. I had a lamb curry which, I suspect , had seed oils in it. The next morning my body punished me with a blinding headache. As regards the artificial sweeteners, not a good idea. See Dr Berry and Kelly Hogan Woman eats only meat for 13 years. I flavour a pint of water with the juice of a freshly squeezed lime. Don't stress, the transition takes time and experimentation. The international Carnivore Community is here for you 💕

This started on March 1st 2022 with a metabolic health check. At 5'10" and 295lbs I was morbidly obese. I was a Type 2 Diabetic. My triglycerides were way out of control. I threw away the prescriptions, did some research and went low carb then keto then ketovore then carnivore. I went full carnivore in October 2023 when Larry at Carnivore Soldier gave me the kick up the butt that I needed to make the final transition. For full disclosure I still drink beer, wine and coffee. Two and a half years on and I've lost 95lbs, reversed Type 2 Diabetes and smashed my triglycerides. My LDL is raised and the drug pushers want to sell me statins. I just ignore them. If raised LDL worries you just study the work of Dr David Diamond. I'm really looking forward to your interview with Carl. We have a strong and loving Carnivore Community in the UK and we have many friends from the USA and Australia. The aforementioned Larry in Texas and David, known as DC down under to mention but two. We've been told all our lives how BAD bacon and red meat are for our cholesterol but studies show that is not necessarily true. Check out Dr. Eric Westman and Dr. Ken Berry on youtube, they have so much information! It's crazy! Then watch some of these before and after videos of people doing it, OMG! I've never see a diet make people look so much younger! I think it's because of all the collagen! But all that aside, I just love it for the energy , the mental clarity and it's just so easy! Good Morning! You popped up in my feed recently and you seem to be on the same time line as my wife and I. We started on July 29th. It only took about 3 days to start seeing some changes for the better. Interestingly enough we just had the same conversation about doctors last night. I had the same doctor for almost 35 years. During the time he prescribed me one low dose BP pill and one baby aspirin. He always questioned me about my diet. He retired about a year and a half ago. New doctor on my first visit doubled my BP pill dose. Next visit added two other medications and then the following visit added another med and the "popular" shot. Well that caused some side effects that were a little crazy and I was not willing to deal with. On that shot I had dropped 20lbs. Off the shot for 1 month and I gained back 10lbs. My first weigh in was August 5th and I had already lost the 10lbs I gained back. I will continue to watch your channel. It is always good to watch like minded people and follow the ups and downs. So far with this I see a lot more ups! Thank you for what you are doing. Have a great day and good luck moving forward.

🎯It's true~ when you feel this good, you want everyone to feel this good, I know I do! Started eating this way a few years ago, & never looked back. I began for weight loss & to mitigate menopause symptoms, yet have stayed with it for the myriad of add'l benefits~ too lengthy to list here, but completely life changing for my husband & I @59 & 64 yrs old. *Hope you don't get terribly overwhelmed, just remember it's only as complicated as you make it~ ask me how I know =). I eat mostly beef, once or twice a day, lots of extra fat/butter if meat is lean, eggs once in a while, heavy cream in my coffee. Prior to this, I very rarely ate red meat, maybe 1-2 times a year. Now, it's all I want. Very simple if you just start trying out different meats, though my tastes changed over time. I couldn't stand fatty ribeye at first, only ate NY strip & sirloin, tri tip, etc but now I love ribeye too. Still not big on burger. I make my own electrolytes, though most people don't need them forever, some not at all. There are tons of electrolyte recipes out there if you do a search. I buy my magnesium, potassium, etc in bulk & make it myself. LMNT is a popular brand of pre-made electrolytes, but too expensive for my tastes, considering how simple they are to make for literal pennies. Anyhow, I've rambled enough. You will find your way, we all do, & it's worth every single bit of research I did. The internal healing is beyond amazing, & it really does feel like aging in reverse. Strong bones, muscles, energy, visceral fat gone, glowing skin, & energy through the roof. Feel free to ask questions, of courseSammie in AZ
