This has been my most favorite video you've posted! I have been wanting to make my own oils but thought it would be much more extensive. Thank you for showing how easy it is! I made a batch immediately after watching this lol oh and your granddaughter was a wonderful helper. She is fortunate to have a grandmother to teach her these things. Love her tattoo Btw! Very cute.

Can you infuse roses for rose oil? Or will it even be that potent doing that?? And would it be fresh petals??

Absolutely you can! What a great question! In fact I should do a video showing how to make rose oil and Rose water. It has a few more steps than lavender oil but it's still pretty simple. You need about 1 cup of fresh rose petals, then you crush or bruise the petals, place them in a jar and cover with oil, put the lid on and place the jar in boiling water, remove the pan from the stove and leave the jar in the water until it cools down, then place the jar in a sunny window for a day or 2. That's it!
