Can you do any work for me? I’m looking to get some copper material melted and mixed with zink. Is this something that you could do?
@SkullerMetals9 сағат бұрын
What type of end product are you looking for? Melt point of zinc is so low, and copper is really high (1985 F) so not sure how well those 2 metals would do together.

The heating elements in the George Foreman grills are CERAMIC COPPER. You can toss those in with transformers/motors.😮 😊 They are just like the rectangle square things on computer boards that are white inside. SECRET COPPA. 😮😎 💖 From Minnesota
@88clemoine15 сағат бұрын
It’s possible that that nut could be reverse thread. Aren’t heating elements usually stainless? 🎉🎉✌️😎
@SkullerMetals9 сағат бұрын
I think so. They had a white powder in them. Wasn't sure if the yard would have a problem with that. Only a few so not too worried about it.

I just pulled apart a waffle maker and was wondering what the easiest way to remove the element was. Got it. Brute force! I'll give it a try. Thank you.
@SkullerMetals20 сағат бұрын
Yeah pretty much. Those elements are held in by molded in "tabs" kind of. On a different one I used my angle grinder to cut down those tabs, which only has to be done on one side of the element. I had to do it that way for that one because the screwdriver trick wasn't working - it was wedged in too tight. More work than I was hoping but it ended up working.

Dirty aluminum is twice the money as sheet metal. So, you can say it's good. Not the best. But better. It takes me awhile to get enough together to make it worth my while. And end up tossing it in with a load of sheet metal. To each there own. Scrap on man. Oh, one more thing. Delete and ignore the haters. Not worth your time.
@SkullerMetals2 күн бұрын
Not at my place dude. Just took in a load today - dirty aluminum they paid $0.11/lb and steel was $0.10. Not worth it.
@scrapguy68162 күн бұрын
@@SkullerMetals I'm only getting 6.25 cents a pound for scrap metal. 14 cents for dirty aluminum. That's why I said that. Good grief. We both need to get more for our dirty aluminum.

Brother I'm the same way. People trash talk me and I dwell on it till I just wanna put them in the dirt. The only thing I can offer as far as advice is just let it roll off your back and try not to get into trouble. I'm working on the same issue myself. I watch both of your channels and enjoy all of your content. You're doing a wonderful job and I'm certain that all the people you help appreciate it more than you know..As far as the idiots making the rude comments,, As I always say, haters will hate no Matter what you do. Keep your head held high and move on. They're not worth your time !

Thanks man, I appreciate it. On this page I make the haters "famous" by pinning their comment so people can RIP them a new one. I dont do that on the other page - try to keep things positive there. It's all good - I've just never been one to shy away from exposing someone's ignorance but I work HARD to swallow my words. Maybe I'm growing up. 😊 Probably about time!

@SkullerMetals I'm a complete ass. I usually won't walk away until making a complete ass of myself. But lately I've been going through so much, I just let everything roll off my back. I get rude comments all the time,just ignore them. Growing up isn't a bad thing lol !! I guess I need to also

Sorry about the angle of the camera. I wish I knew a fool-proof way of setting it. If I record a little then verify the angle, I have to take the camera off my head to do it. So then putting it back on your head changes things. I checked my other footage and there are a couple vids I won't be able to show because of this, but many others are good. Eventually I started putting the camera on the back shelf of my bench which is much better for all involved.

@SkullerMetals3 күн бұрын
Yeah that's very smart. My aluminum barrel is really the only 55 gallon drum I can lift into the truck. Steel or wire in it - forget it! But it's a nice place to hold it rather than a lot of buckets. Probably if I had more room I'd do buckets.
