You can purchase a plow and quick hitch for an X7 series then get the adapters to make it work for your 2305

Great video. Do you know of a video that instructs a new user on how to start the engine? I'm going to rent one of these from a local tool rental place, but the guy that gives the instructions on how to use it doesn't explain things well. Barreto doesn't have a video on their webpage.

I have virtually the same set up and after using my plow all last winter, I'm even more convinced I should have gotten a snowblower instead. Why? Because, when I plow a fair amount of snow like this gentleman, like him, I wind up with a ton of snow at the end of the driveway. Problem: You can't raise the plow blade high enough to push the snow sufficiently out of the way. With a snowblower, you can put the snow wherever you want to and primarily, away from the piled up snow banks. Yes, a snowblower might take five minutes longer but it's all relative. Besides, you're still having fun!

@MeltingRubberZ28 Жыл бұрын
That turn radius I'm definitely jealous of. I have an 85 F350 dump I use for plowing and the truck is super long with a wide turn radius. This thing turns on a dime
@montekrueger9762 Жыл бұрын
Yes, but doesn't clear as wide a path.
@finscreenname Жыл бұрын
Not to be picky but..... Plowing up snow against the foundation of that house had to make it a bit colder. Also you plowed up snow around the mailboxes including leaving a mound in front of the one across the street. Mailmen need to be able to get to the box without getting out of their truck and also people need to able to get to the box. Simple things make it look like you cleared their box area and not just looked for a place to dump snow from your driveway. Then with the foundation, if there is a leak or if it leans for some reason, they will be looking to blame someone.

Nice job, but I find a snow blower moves heavy snow (about a foot) much more efficiently. Don't think anyone uses a small tractor in this neck of the woods.

I’m prepping a neglected area of my backyard for grass seed. The previous owners of our home let kudzu grow throughout. We have cleared all the brush and killed it all off, but I am finding a good number of vines below the soil. Will this pull them up or will they get stuck in the tines? Great video!
@montekrueger9762 Жыл бұрын
You can chop up the roots with the tiller, but may have to then rake them out of the soil so the Kudzu doesn't reestablish itself. The reverse tine direction would be best to bring the roots to the surface.

Good video review. By the way there should be a button on the bottom side of the tail gate that will allow it to come down as long as the truck is unlocked. Simply push the button under the tail gate and it will open up. Also you can calibrate the gas mileage meter. There are some videos on youtube on how to recalibrate the "lie-o-meter" mileage meter on the Fords.
