Thank you! If it was only for normal overlanding and doing a lot of off-roading then probably yes. But for off-roading shorter wheelbase performs better.

The design is nice but the people who have done analysis of the battery capacity show it to be far less than the stated 15k mAh. It would seem it's closer to half of that.

First off, love the organization and thought you put into your load out. But I’m gonna be that guy, asking (or advising) about your toilet drain.. Did you say it just drains right out the bottom of your truck bed? If so, PLEASE do not do this. I can understand urine because we’ve all peed on trees or the ground. Based on the amount of detail you gave on everything else, I can’t help but wonder, what do you 💩 in? Common sense tells me you’re not dropping that on the ground below the truck bed.. right?
@NoRoadNoProblemAdventuresАй бұрын
LMAOOO 🤣🤣🤣 no man that’s just for urine. As I explained in the video for 💩 I use the plastics that came with the toilet.

6:53 Looks like it is dripping / leaking from the bottom...what is up with that?

@@NoRoadNoProblemAdventures OH, I see how that could make a heck of a mess by your feet. How about attaching a tube to funnel the waste water into a container or ??? Thanks for the response...I was wondering WTH was going on there.
@NoRoadNoProblemAdventuresАй бұрын
@townsendmedia unfortunately the sink doesn’t have an attachment point for any hose. But I usually dig a hole on the ground so it doesn’t splash everywhere.

Great build. I have one question. Being an old IT and Music guy, I love that you used rack mount drawers. Never thought of that. Can you share the manufacture and size of the rack itself. If it was a wall mount, did you tie into the truck, if it was a four post box, how did you secure it. GREAT IDEA.

Pretty amazing man would love to have that set up. Just curious as I'm just learning about overlanding. Is there a reason why many choose the rooftop tents over a slide in type camper which many already have the things you need? I'm just researching and looking into getting something going for myself and my wife to take few day to possibly weeklong trips. We have and live in an rv already for 10 years but want to start overlanding and start another setup for shorter trips. Again, great set up man. Really impressive.
@NoRoadNoProblemAdventures3 ай бұрын
Thanks man! So here is my opinion: slide in campers are much much heavier and top heavy so they aren’t ideal if you want to do extreme offroading. Of course my set up doesn’t have the same comfort level as the slide in camper but I can explore more places with this setup. So that’s the main reason I went with wedge style camper.

8:08 you'd definitely want to use sticks, leaves etc. outside. Was the side vent open or closed for either experiment?
@NoRoadNoProblemAdventures3 ай бұрын
In order to increase the temperature (when using the wood sticks) the vents should be open. If the temperature is rising too much then you can partially close the vents.

By opening the vents you are increasing the temperature. So if you want to increase the temperature then yes open the vents so more air gets in.
