very very little scanning may be possible, but usually you only use such things for very long distance beams.

If you really want to be flexible with lasers and what you can do, have a look at the Laserworld DS-1000RGB MK2 and higher and get Showcontroller software for it (works without that, too, as comes with free Showeditor full license). It allows for professional DMX and Art-Net control too and has many built-in features. That one gives you bes flexibility and great performance.

The center one is an RTI NANO system with 30W of power and the side ones were tarm 11 However, power is not everything (so many more aspects to be considered!) - hence professional equipment was used.

Hi, can i do similar programming with the EL-400RGB MK2 or the EL-230RGB MKII ? Thanks
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 18 күн бұрын
There is quite a gap between basic systems and more professional systems. The lasers in this video have a built-in ShowNET intelligent laser mainboard with a great variety of features. This is not comparable to entry-level systems. The Laserworld EL-230 MK2 and EL-400RGB MK2 are great lasers for parties and smaller clubs, but if it comes to more professional productions, we recommend checking out the Laserworld DS-1000RGB MK4 or higher

Can it display a logo for example ??
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 3 ай бұрын
yes, it can, as long as it is a basic, non-complex logo. Graphics projections (such a logos) are the most difficult task for a show laser system to do, that's why we offer specialist laser systems for this. e.g. the tarm3 with CT scanner upgrade is our recommended graphics and logo projection setup. But obviously that's a different price point. Maybe you want to check out the DS-1000RGB MK3 instead? It is superior to the CS by all means, and it has the intelligent ShowNET mainboard already built in as standard.

@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 5 ай бұрын
Well, you can use it in any software part of Showcontroller. If you want to export it, use PicEdit or Realtime to create an ILDA file. You need a license for doing so.

I have the Laserworld DS 1000 MK4. Is the basic Version of Showcontroller also free as the Showeditor? When i connect the Laser with Ethernet (Lan) the Showcontroller says, that they not find the license Dongle and that they not give an output. Shownet admin tool and Showeditor works without problems.
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 5 ай бұрын
As it's stated in the video, Showcontroller needs a license dongle to work with output. Two licenses are available, the standard one and the PLUS license - with more output channels and multimedia on the timeline.

You don't need anything - it is already implemented in Touchdesigner. Just connect via LAN and go! Remember to use the latest Touchdesigner version.

Thanks for another inspiring example from laserworlds PL series lasers, good to see an outside production, did you have to use haze or are is the laser light visible mainly from the moisture in the atmosphere?
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 6 ай бұрын
Some haze and fog was used to intensify the visibility at close quarter. However, natural moisture let the beams become visible, too ... but to intensify the experience it is always recommended to add artificial particles if possible. Depending on the region of the world natural moisture or dust is present or not - in many cases it's difficult to just rely on that

@@LaserworldAG thanks, that makes perfect sense,, an important part of planning an outside event. One more question if I may, for a laser show outside like this what is a typical value for the angle of projection - ie the values you would set in the admin tool for the x and y axis.
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 5 ай бұрын
Specifically at that event the x-size was at 100% and the y-size probably at 30%, with an offset to keep the beams overhead.

Hello, I am new to the laser world... I am thinking of buying laser from EL series... Is it possible to control it using ENTTEC usb interface and QLC+ program? Because that's what we using for lights. Great demonstration by the way!
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 6 ай бұрын
Well, the Ecoline Series is very very basic. What is shown in this video refers to the Diode Series and higher, these have the professional ShowNET laser mainboard. The Ecoline Series devices (except of the El-60G) can be controlled with standard DMX, no matter which interface you use or which controller. DMX is a standardized trigger protocol. Pretty much all lasers of Laserworld, tarm and RTI can be controlled via DMX, but there are huge differences in terms of what you can do. All lasers with ShowNET mainboard have the same DMX profiles and they also support ArtNET. They are intended for professional use. Lower series, like EL or CS, also have basic DMX functionality, but depending on the design they are limited in possibilities. They work fine for parties, entertainers and clubs, that's what they were designed for, but if you think of more professional applications, we recommend going for DS and higher. With these you have much more compatibility as well: www.laserworld.com/en/shownet-compatible.html

hi can u tell me how to setup with dmx laser and moving head lights together tnx
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 7 ай бұрын
Make sure that lasers and moving light have different start addresses - if the laser has 10 channels, as example, make sure that the moving head start address is at least 11 or higher, so the different devices don't conflict. If you have such a 192 controller, I recommend having starting addresses in batches by 16, so first laser is 1, second laser is 16, because it eases the selection of each device through the scanner select buttons on the left side. The way of controlling the lasers and the light are independent of each other, so with setting different start addresses, they can be controlled individually. If you need to set start addresses with DIP switches, this could come handy: www.laserworld.com/en/laserworld-toolbox/dmx-address-setting.html

@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 7 ай бұрын

Just use an ILDA cable to connect your FB3 to the ILDA ports at the laser. It automatically prioritizes ILDA if connected.

Can the Laser be Operated via Show Controller or Showeditor ?
@LaserworldAG
@LaserworldAG 7 ай бұрын
No, this laser has basic functionality - sound to light, automatic mode and DMX operation. The computer controllable lasers start with teh Club Series, the ones with built-in intelligent mainboard with the Diode Series - the DS units also come with the full Showeditor license and are capable of direct control through Showcontroller and other software (see here: www.laserworld.com/en/shownet-compatible.html).
