Please can you educate yourself before leaving such a comment? Everything you’ve said is just…wrong. -All energy originates from plants. When you eat animals you are getting that energy second hand. Of course humans have the ability to utilise energy from plants, and the biggest and strongest animals on the planet are plant based. It’s the official position of the largest body of nutritional professionals in the world, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, that a plant based diet is suitable for all stages of life, and rescues the risk of diseases such as heart disease, cancer and diabetes. There are plenty of thriving plant based athletes and body builders. -from the animals’ perspective, it’s not the method, it’s the fact that they’re exploited and killed in the first place. Put yourself in their position- would you want a bigger cage to be imprisoned in and a less painful way to be murdered, or would you rather be left the fuck alone? -you’re so SO wrong about plant based food being more environmentally problematic. I can’t get my head about the fact you’re not aware that animal agriculture is decimating the planet. It’s the leading cause of deforestation globally, and one of the biggest drivers of climate change and biodiversity loss. Anag takes up ONE THIRD of the earth’s land surface, and it’s painfully obvious as a matter of common sense that it takes more land, water and crops to fatten up 70 billion livestock animals per year than it would to feed crops directly to humans. Again…Google. Please just do some research- it’ll save my time and stop you looking like someone who regurgitates BS they’ve heard from others without verifying.

I’ve not eaten animal flesh since I was three years old and was known for my strength in school, often taking on and fighting boys who were bigger and older than me when they tried to bully younger children. I also grew to be far taller than my carnist mother and sister. The biggest and strongest animals on the planet are plant based. Eating corpses is bad for your body and soul.

Some of the best athletes are vegan.... maybe need to educate yourself on vegan protein and diets lol

@@jimmydigital nah just natural instincts and sadly a lot of experience. I’ve got a wicked temper and when I lose it I lose it! I’ve been vegan ten years now so that’s how long I’ve not consumed eggs and dairy. Not only are they products of abuse, murder and exploitation, but they’re actually very bad for our health. I make little effort with my diet, but have no nutritional deficiencies and am stronger than a lot of women my age and size.

I've been into martial arts & combat sports for 30+ years, boxed as a teenager, done Judo as a kid. Few BJJ lessons. I see a lot of woman that are able to beat men these days on the mat.

Farmed animals are bred to existence. When we stop the breeding, there won't be any overpopulation problem. And farmers don't love their animals. Atleast I wouldn't call it loving since the farmers sell them to slaughter and also mutilate them and exploit their reproductive systems for profit.

Everything we do is a choice. Simply choosing to do something doesn’t make that thing ethical. I can’t believe I have to explain that. Do I need to list a bunch of things people have chosen to do, which are immoral EVEN THOUGH people chose to do them?! If animals weren’t farmed for food then no, the countryside wouldn’t be full of farmed animals. But what’s your point? No one would be looking after them…because they quite rightly wouldn’t exist. And if you think farmers are taking good care of animals with regular vet trips you’re sorely mistaken. Of the hundreds of farms I’ve been to I would say on only around 1% have I NOT seen animals suffering/neglected. Not that it makes a difference to the fundamental argument that other sentient beings are not ours to use and exploit in the first place. Farmers love their animals?! Is that your idea of love…forcible impregnation, exploitation, mutilation, neglect, abuse and murder? Wow. Tbh you’ve kind of proved my point- your entire comment has an illustrative of a dire lack of logic, and I don’t think there’s much consciousness going on either.

@@269gem9 Is your problem with humans eating meat and hunting or is your problem to do with how animals are farmed that and killed on mass? As I said in My other comment that I would love to hear your opinion on, humans don't have the ability to degest plants the same as Gorilla can due to there larger and more adapted digestive system. Both Humans and Gorillas lack the ability to digest cellulose like pure plant eaters can. Humans are omnivorous and while We can live without meat it requires obtaining fruit and vegetables and seed that is I rat meat, humans are supposed to be omnivores, We don't have the ability to digest energy from plants like animals like Gorilla can. The problem with meat farming is the methods not the actual act of hunting and eating meat, but these mass farming practices come from the population growth. The more the population grows the more food is required and the more unnatural it becomes to produce that food, be that animal or plant bassed. Eating plant based products is causing just as much damage to the earth as meat products, with huge areas of land deforestation and killing of wild animals for mono crops like Palm oil. not even in are region. There are so many aspects to this that just calling anyone who eats meat mindless doesn't really work.
