Come to think, a fantasy series about a literal modern day Rome would be very interesting.

oh gods okay, first pass I thought I needed to be a bit altered for this, turns out I wasn't ready... I'm on my second pass and I'm still not ready but I'm firmly hooked. what a delight it is to be trans and to listen, to feel, and to enjoy and escape.

what was the point of getting another actor to portray your former self if you weren't going to deepfake your old face over theirs? Or is that akin to deadnaming? ...deadfaking?....

Well as she said the channel is not about the truth. "The goal is to be wrong in interesting ways" So what does it matter what she says about Jordan Peterson?

I forget where I read this but someone said that anti-Semitism is the one form of discrimination that’s seen as punching up, and as a gay Jew I feel that 💯

This was a good companion video with the behind the bastards series on the Irish great hunger These social Darwinist theories were actively being used to argue for denying aid to the Irish

What about "an entity is beautiful if it causes the sense of beauty in one's mind"? Seems to solve most of the issues.

I feel so ridiculous - all these years because I've watched you on my TV's KZfaq app primarily, I thought that Rhys WAS you in the Man Who Wasn't There, and that you filmed that bit with him disappearing and then shaved again, etc. So then when I watched you two together here I was sure it was a split screen because of a sort of Mandela effect - Rhys' performance as you had become part of my mental image of your former self. It really threw me for a bit, and I hope that was the point! I have watched almost your entire back catalog, but your Trans coming out video was the one the algorithm introduced me to your channel with, so Rhys' performance as you was foundational in my image of you. Just subbed to Rhys as well. Love everything you do; your thoughtful and wise and pointed and well-sourced essays and your costumes and staging and production value make your channel easily a member of my top 5 favourite channels. Cannot WAIT to see you in The Acolyte next week!!!!!!

Thank you for really digging into the philosophy of sex and gender in an intellectually and personally honest manner. I think there is a severe lack of conversations like this in the LGBTQ+ community. But also society and philosophy in general. Biologically I identify as a cis male, solely because my biological impulses and genetic makeup reflects the societal definition. My mind however has both feminine and masculine qualities. Gender and sexuality is such a hard thing to define, because it's an existential identity that is unique for every 7+ billion humans. Me personally I love doing a ton of cis male things, however if I ask myself mentally what gender I identify with, neither. I think it's mentally dishonest to deny that every human being has both feminine and masculine aspects of thought and identity. Our languages reflect this, and has existed in history, but society and religion has erased this fact from human thought. I also believe that humans have an intrinsic identity, but also an extrinsic identity. If I could, I would run around naked in a cabin in the woods like a 6'2 missing link, but I couldn't sustain that lifestyle for long without having to interact with society. Because I rely on others, I have to put on pants and maintain my extrinsic identity to appropriately interact with others. A lot of people think that extrinsic identity is more important, those people are MISERABLE. True happiness comes when you're honest and know who you truly are intrinsically. Never EVER change who you are intrinsically! We all must maintain an extrinsic identity to interact with our fellow human beings. The problem with that is that we should express ourselves extrinsically as much as possible, as much as ethically and practically as possible. That is why society has laws, but unfortunately society does not define laws in the most ethically manner possible, quite the opposite. Most of society values selfish practicality over ethics. Which is why we must educate others about this, to break down the unethical injustices we place on others due to our human biases and ignorance.
