Jonas, that's hardly "bend it just a little bit" on the original cage, that's nearly completely mullered! I have an OBD 2 reader in my 9-5 and it runs all the time (even with the ignition off and the key out) and will flatten the battery in a couple of days.

Something that's needed 100% is TPMS, there are some really nice USB ones that works with all Android! A must have on a hard driven vehicle! ❤

Those heat shrink connectors are really good and exactly what I used. That head unit looks really good and fits so nicely. Good job👌👌

Lifters Need to be heated (softens the tar/oil ) then sqeeze them in a Vise (carefully) the heated oil dribbles out like water...and they begin to be freed up. Follow by an overnight immersion in Laquer thinners to Fully dissolve the crap in the lifter's check valves.

You're an inspiration! If i ever get a garage, i plan on swapping in a camaro or Cadillac Ats RWD drivetrain in my 2008 9-3 combi. The only issue with that route is that the manual transmission is supposedly not any good. And the differentials arent good either. But i want to go gen 3 ecotec no matter what. Seriously awesome car! And i love the NG 9-5s too
