Thank you I thoroughly enjoyed your video. I’m surprised that you got the $250 onboard credit for being a Carnival stockholder. I have over 100 shares with Carnival and NCLH. I went on a discounted cruise with Carnival short three day $300 for a balcony cabin solo, I requested on board credit and was denied. Im retiring hopefully at the end of this year and I will look into searching as you have along with a couple other Facebook pages, etc., that I follow. Also try to can get on Holland America’s standby cruises. No solo supplement on these you pay $49 for an inside and $79 for a balcony per day upfront. If you don’t get on the cruise, they refund. I do not believe you can use OBC on these sailings.

if people from other countries wonders why filipinos arrive at airports like 4-hours early, show them this video... its simply that our own airports taught us that 4-hours is the safest time allowance for us to not miss our flights 😂

It is a bargain. But people with real jobs can't do this. Take off 26 days with a week's notice. I imagine the demographic was mostly older folks. Honestly all those sea days I'd be bored.

I was stationed there but left about 6 months before Mt. Pinatubo erupted. I remember the heat and the humidity. The base itself was huge, you almost had to drive or bike to get from the flightline to the BX.

Gratuities are optional. It's very easy to adjust the amount at guest services to be from the $16 per person per day to no gratuities at all.
@rachelcrossen813611 күн бұрын
Why would you do that. Do you not feel you receive exceptional service?
@visitingfromsantafe13292 күн бұрын
Would be better to increase gratuity. Staff pampers you.

Nate one thing you didn’t talk about is how did you get back to USA? How much was the airfare back home?
@singrdave12 күн бұрын
We sailed the Royal Princess in November 2021, one of the first post-lockdown Caribbean sailings. Such a great ship, five days with stops in Dominican Republic and Princess Cays wasn't long enough. But I don't know if we're up for 26 days across the Pacific!

Yes, I believe you can easily purchase SIM cards in all terminals (except, perhaps, Terminal 4).

Now that I'd been to Clark Airport for at least three times now, I'm beginning to look for "green" elements in the terminal. Perhaps they can throw in some plants? That would go well with the glulam element in the roofing, methinks. :)

We were on that cruise too! I remember you though I don’t think we met. We agree that Rob the naturalist was a highlight. We got on in Seattle (rather than Vancouver) and off in Auckland and saved over $1,000. The airfare to return from NZ rather than Sydney also saved us about $1,000. Overall, a great trip that we would happily do again.
