That's a beautiful shot at about 11:10.

I made this back in 2012 when my son still lived with us (he is in the frame at about 15:17). My son moved out it seems like a year ago to make his way in the world, watching this again today I saw him come into frame and I was overcome with emotion. I miss having him around.

And there I was, under the rain with my blue jacket and my hood on my head looking at the cracks of what once was a big avenue, wondering if humanity in any way would have had a chance to be spared from the destiny it had forged by his own hand, if there was a chance to avoid this view to avoid the memories and the nostalgia of a forgotten future.

It is like even without knowing me personally, they understood my mind and depression, creating a soundtrack for it. I’ve been listening to a lot of bands including Mogwai for years... nearly all of them soothed my mind with their songs during some specific time. But this song, even among so many important songs to me, is really special. It’s like therapy. But I don’t feel ashamed at all. Only calm.
