Do you think it is easier to keep your notes organized, and to reorganize as needed, on the A6X2 or the reMarkable 2?

I would love to be able to use all my Notion library of notebooks and texts on the Supernote A5X... Do you know if that is possible? Thanks for the project, its goals and all the tips, by the way.

How did you get your dr grip to fit? I have the digital version and tried to swap it into a regular all black version and the parts are different sizes etc.

I keep looking at e ink tablets - I want support for kindle/ebooks, pdf, drawing and writing My choices are the new Boox 10", the Scribe and the Supernote - simply turn on do not disturb mode and fiddle with settings to stop notifications. I feel RM2 needs an update and I am not a fan of subscriptions

Hey Brandon, love your videos. What do you think about using Supernote Fountain Ceramic Pen on the Remarkable 2? I've been using it so far and the writing experience is amazing!! Much better than the actual Remarkable 2 Pen and Lamy Al-Star Pen, I liked it a lot due to the pinpoint accuracy. I don't even get that kind of accuracy and control from the Remarkable Pen using Remarkable/Lamy Al-Star nibs, or even titanium nibs.

I bought it. I hate it. Nobody is mentioning an important thing: everytime I turn the page, the screen takes a long time (thinking maybe?) then it flashes and goes completely black, and only then does it show the next page. You can't search words inside the book or flip through it. It's a real disaster. And not good for your eyes. Hate it! Do not buy !!!

Hello. I'm considering buying a Remarkable but have one question: I want to buy it for university-purposes (especially reading downloadable textbooks). Is it possible to import PDFs und read the books properly (font size, formatting etc.)?
@BrandonKBoswellКүн бұрын
I’ve had good luck with PDFs on it, but many people claim the Boox PDF viewer holds up better with larger documents

Did not know of this channel. Thank God that has changed. I am so confused between Remarkable and Scribe. I have heard a lot of bad stuff about how remarkable 2 does not let you save your work on your own cloud without paying them for it (stupid!). Your lovely video has nudged me towards Remarkable. Much gratitude for your work. Love from India

You got sponsored and this is not a good phone. It's just a small e-ink tablet with a sim in it. Expensive and terrible for that price. And worse it's CCP controlled. I have a Boox Note Air 2. That thing is great for reading and taking notes. Don't put any company data on it. It's fully CCP Chinese so any data on it means any data on it is part of the Chinese government. Any data on that device will be shared with Chinese officials. So you can never use it for any company because you allow China to see company private information all the time. Unlike normal devices.

Let's hope reMarkable stay focused on this product. Keep the updates coming and continue to innovate on this platform (OS) and try not to change its strategy by changing the platform to appeal to other crowds. And I really hope reMarkable come out with a color version because I like to highlight my notes with different colors for priority reasons. Yes, it's still worth the money in 2024.

@BrandonKBoswell, in lieu of a missing gesture for undo, maybe the "scribble through to delete" gesture is somewhat better than having to pick at an icon.

I guess I understand wanting a SIM card in this, so you can use it asa second phone, but... I'm also guessing most people wouldn't want to rely on a black and white eInk cellphone for very long, and would likely still carry their regular color phone. I can see taking it to the beach or the pool, perhaps, where you have a phone for ermergency;ish pruposes, though.

Thank you for your review. I am a chemist and I generate a lot of paper notes. This creates a big problem as I usually lose them or can’t keep them organized. Taking notes on a laptop is cumbersome because I need to sketch structures and that takes too long when I’m in a meeting.

Mine arrived today ! I found dark mode but only on the reader, so far, not system wide. In neoreader tap the middle of the screen to bring up the options for page setup, font style and spacing etc. One of the options there is to set the page to black

When I received my Go 10.3 I yestereday afternoon, I updated the system. But then there was a further update arriving on the scene last evening -- which mentioned some "keyboard fixes". So yes, I can now type on a text document (with Shift characters too) using a USB-C keyboard OR Bluetooth Keyboard. (It took quite a while to find my BT keyboard, but this is par for the course with many tablets and computers, subsequent connection will not be slow, I suspect). REVISED: the Kindle app now seems to be working ok -- best to choose the NORMAL speed option and Kindle's Page Turning Animation is optional. Voja advised me on this. I'm not sure if things changed with the last system update or if I had failed to try NORMAL speed (thinking I needed to make things faster). Yeah! we can type or write in an outside cafe while sipping a Cappucino!

Thanks for the video! Looks like all you can get is either pure images or pure text files. What I'd really like to see from the industry is a possibility to cpnvert the notes into *searchable* PDFs, with the (OCR'd) text behind the image like a regular PDF created fully digitally.

As far as the shift key problem. Was watching someone else talking about the Supernote and typing (i think it's in beta) and apparently shift key wasn't working on Supernote either. Said you could use the CAP key to get by that but i think they said Supernote has fixed that now. Maybe CAPS key will work on this for the time being?

Brandon - for me the big attraction is if I can write and write and write in my handwriting on a ReMarkable 2 and then after the meeting press a button and what I have written magically turns into type written text that I can then convert into a wordprocessed document or a PowerPoint-type document. Such a feature, if quick and accurate, would be 100% ideal for me. I am told the ReMarkable 2 has a feature that allows the user to convert their handwriting into typed text, but I have never seen a review or a video that shows me this feature being used. Is this because it is not a very good feature? Is it because it is very inaccurate? Or it is a paid extra? Or it is not possible to do this?
@steverolfeca4 күн бұрын
I was hoping that your keyboard woes were just a USB C thing. Kit tested a BT keyboard, and it seemed to be less laggy. But it had the shift key problem too. Hoping they release a firmware fix real soon!
@patrickjones28434 күн бұрын
Everyone talks smack about Remarkable 2 because its "lack of features" just doesn't get why we are willing to pay the $$ in the first place. I already have those gadgets that drain battery for movies and games etc. I just need a device for note taking and writing books. It does it very well and the build quality is amazing. I wish it was half the price but it still worth its weight in gold to me.
