All I know is you have VERY supportive parents to allow you to rearrange their home to allow you to have a poker table in the living area along with your set up. This is not normal and you should be really grateful to have such great parents.

That’s the worst no raise on the river I’ve ever seen. But on the bright side, we learn best from our mistakes. I don’t think you’ll ever call when given the option to raise on the river with the nuts again 😎

In some casinos, just calling with the nuts will get you into investigation, for a simple reason that you made them lose rake money, and your probably playing with someone you don't want to stack. Never just call with the nuts even if its a chop.

So you gave two reasons for just calling: you thought he didnt have any behind and you figured you were chopping. The second point is moot. You should take the L and focus on your humility IMO. If youre going to double down and use the chop as a reason, we'd like to hear a logical explanation. Otherwise, I think you have really good intuition and its clear when you explain your thought process.

lol it happens, always good to raise for one you have the nuts and 2 you never want other people to think you;re colluding. Obv the casino knows that you're not but people get paranoid in poker you loose action too cuz bad players think otherwise unfort

Wow! You got a fish that would reraise on the river with 2-pair, on that board, and you don’t go allin? Of course he’s gonna call, because he has no idea what the hell he’s doing. Your insta-call was dumb, but his reraise was classic. The only good that came out of that call, was the fact you got to see his cards, and how bad a player he really is.

its a bad snap because you have take away with the 2nd Q he only has 2 he can have in his hand. I play PLO-8 and Limit -O8 and I can not tell you how many pots I have capped or repot with a scoop or 3/4 on my opponents. Never not go all-in just because you think its a chop. 99 out of 100 times you will be told its silly. 1 out of 100 times you are the GTO king

I have a hard time seeing the turn over bet shove being for value. Unless you have the image of making those kind of calls, I can't see the shove being for value. I think it leans towards being a bluff and wouldn't hate a call.

everyone is going to want to roast you but fail to see you won the maximum in reality, I think both villain and hero played hand fine. He probably put you on AK, AJ, knew he wasn't good so he turned his 2 pair into bluff. Not a bad play on his end, line he should take sometimes.. if you hadn't made mistake having $ behind, he knows hes never good if you 3b go all in and is going to fold anyway so fact he raised, you won max.

No need to roast you for not jamming. You know it was a mistake. Just commenting for the algorithm 😂 One thing I think might be a nice change would be to keep the text for ALL of the action on the screen for at least the duration of each street (including PF). It's tough to see the action on vlogs, so being able to read the whole history for at least the current street would make it much easier to follow the HH. Great content as usual

I don’t even understand his logic. So what if it was chop? The rake is already maxed out- there is literally no reason to not go all in. Especially with 800$ more, the other guy gets great price but also knows he’s beaten so it’s so bad for him

A bit late to the party, but I actually would’ve liked a check raise on river with QQ and q of clubs as a bluff. Villain would be betting turn with lots of flush draws and we in general are checking a lot of flush draws on turn oop due to the large c-bet on flop. The action makes it look a lot like he has ak or aq, and it is impossible for him to have KQc and QJc as we are blocking those + he would def be betting all other flush draws like JTc on turn when getting all that extra equity; sets and two pair would also all bet turn. So he reeeeallly doesn’t have many flushes esp with q clubs as that knocks at least half of his flush combos. To make sure I’m not full of shit, I even checked the solver and with Tx Tc (bc we can’t use QQ given it isn’t a gto line). Solver likes a 42% river shove as a bluff.
