Ran when parked just means the last owners ran away when they parked it, for good reason.

The funny part about your wire pull is I've never used the hook on a fish to pull wire lol. Done hundreds of runs just taping up staggered to the fish line with Super 33+ I could see my way being an issue if you really are stackin the pipe with max fill tho. Although nobody showed me shiet and I was thrown to the wolfs regarding electrical work, conduit bending and installs.

Wow, that was the best visual and audio explanation of how a diesel Stanadyne type pump works I've seen.

We put a truck on the lift ignoring the tarped down tailgate that actually had mud and rocks in it without us knowing it slid off the pads and fell down 😢 don't feel bad.

Heard a crisis counselor and support staff were called to ADS just after this was posted; you know anything about that? Watching Dad go haring down the road with the rig bouncing and the fuel situation fraught was pure entertainment wrapped around that hard kernel of learning. Another fine piece, saved this for dessert after dinner, did not disappoint.

I enjoyed watching your Dad ask questions like, "What are we going to do if it runs away?" VERY important. You didn't seem like you were listening. Also, after the fix he said, "Do we have any leaks?" and started to check while you admired your pump rebuild. Get in there and show your Pop you know how to stay focused and see the job through!

I love watching you and your dad work together. I credit the time I spent growing up in the shop with my dad for me becoming an engineer, mechanic, and woodworker. I miss those days so much. Enjoy these days, spent with your dad, Wes.

I'm hoping I can remember back to my Perkins engine rebuilding days in the early 1980s. This is a 3-152.There are two 1/4 or 5/16 bleeders on the injection pump. You are supposed to crack them and pump the lift pump until you get fuel out. Then after the engine starts we would always crack the nuts at the injectors to bleed the high pressure lines. Also, this is an indirect injection engine. These IDI Perkins were gumming up the injectors. More than the Direct injection versions. A bad spray pattern or a leaky injector would also cause the blue/white smoke. I do remember all those fine thread fasteners what a PITA in tight spaces.

That's about as well as my wagon starts on cold mornings, heaps of diesely smoke, runs rough until warm. The Tech2 says number two injector is bad and possibly number 1 injector are on their way out.

Same as MF 235. Me and my side kick changed steering gear box junk for a "kit." We could do 2 a day providing the barns were not too far apart. Awesome little tractor with the Ferguson 3 point hitch.

That Massey looks pretty clean :) I wish there was a better selection of used equipment in my area, but Arizona doesn't have much to offer in that regard and good luck if you live in las vegas. I have to install a septic system and do homestead related tasks on the land I just bought, so I need something like a mini excavator, I think that would be a good all around machine. Aliexpress has sit down, open cab style mini excavators for like 2,500$ to 4,000$. I have been thinking of buying one for the septic system install, and if all goes as planned I think it will only cost a little bit more money to buy a excavator and the septic system materials and do the job myself rather than paying someone to do it and that way I get to keep the excavator!:)

I like Perkins engines intellectually (i.e. I am pleased that they exist) but I must concede that they were, in fact, all designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel during his off-hours some time around 1836.
