An original century wavemaster bag is very affordable and easy to assemble. I put it in the corner of my garage so it doesn’t move around. I filled it up with water. I’m 54 years old and I train to stay in shape, not to compete. Use it or lose it. Good lesson. Thank you coach.

Do tire knockers work with these techniques? If not, is there a way you could apply it? Nonlethal techniques are paramount imho.
@SIMAmartialarts3 ай бұрын
As Kali practitioners, we consider the attributes of the weapon and then adapt the technique to that specific tool. depending on the weight, the tire knocker seems like a perfect weapon of opportunity. Like any armed consideration though, you need to develop good all around fighting skills to support the weapon of choice. Hope that helps!

Societal engineering. Downtown, seeing random drug addicts or otherwise mentally unstable individuals freaking out in public in various ways is totally common. When oot and aboot, as my Canadian friends may say, I'm often the subject of ridicule for taking these extraordinarily common incidents seriously as a warning sign of potential danger. I'd rather take it seriously and nothing happens than fail to do so and somebody is injured or killed. Something else to highlight as well is that it's probably just as important to carry some amount of medical supplies on your person. Not that this man could have been saved, but a tourniquet on a limb with a severed artery can keep enough blood in to keep you going until the paramedics arrive.

This is awesome training. The two scariest weapons operated by a single person I can think of are rifles and knives. With a rifle someone hundreds of yards away that you can't hear, smell or see can take you out. With a knife, a silent, deadly tool that's undetectable in most normal circumstances can be deployed closely and swiftly. It can be utilized lethally with slight motion, thrusting or slashing. If you're already in tunnel vision you may not even see the knife and just assume the assailant is hitting you and you may not even notice how badly you've been injured. Damaging someone irrecoverably with a blade doesn't even require skill if they aren't aware of the blade. Scary stuff.

Anyone who doesnt say the big two knuckles isnt thinking straight.
@BWater-yq3jx5 ай бұрын
Palm is good if you have an uninterrupted path to the target, especially if you're holding one of his arms. BUT if it's a chaotic flurry of arms such as you would often see in a fight, then you need to protect your fingers and wrist by making a tight, small fist. Further, do you really think in that situation you're going to hit the exact knuckles you want on a target (face/head) that is not an even surface and is moving? Good luck with that. Train ALL your knuckles, but focus on the index (middle) being lined up straight with the arm.

i saw other videos with fist turned from top to bottom not to break urself.. how can you do damge with this? i had two streetfights last year and i would die with your advice.. the point is that punching is not often even used and the thing is to get the other guy on ground or he does this first.. those few boxing noobs in streetfight you will never meet, but you will meet somebody trying to choke you and get on the ground ..

Do a vertical punch to not break your hand and aim with the top knuckle so you hit with the top two instead of a horizontal punch.
