Luke from the Outdoor Boys KZfaq channel has a stove with a metal box with a spigot that attaches to the side of his stove. This is ideal for melting snow. You may want to consider adding that.
@fourdogstoveco6 ай бұрын
I use to make them 35 years ago. But have found a large tea kettle is much more practical. You can go to the water/snow source. You can transport the water to where you need it. You can use it on an open fire. Multi use, much more practical.

Awesome video! RIP Mors! Just ordered my “Mors Pot” from Amazon. Since Four Dog no longer sells the original pot, I ordered the Pathfinder pot. Almost identical to the pot Mors used. Can’t wait to get it and put together the kit! My only problem with the kit Is the cheap, orange 6 in 1 “ survival tool”….simply junk! Otherwise, great video and information!
@thomasmusso11478 ай бұрын
True. Those 'multi-purpose' combos are often cheap junk. Best to source each item individually .. Compass - Whistle - Waterproof Container - Matches - Striker - Mirror. Besides being able to pick each item specifically for one's needs, as Mors mentioned, lose the gimmick and one loses six items.

Keep in mind that I've only used it for a couple weeks, that being said, so far so good kzfaq.infoUgkxAU9pOCSV9Y5JprooHvfxTpOrt4hx8uRM . Using it at 8 ft. by 8ft. deer blind that is insulated. I have to keep the door cracked for it to get enough air to burn, but that is very likely the wood I've used. Much better quality than I expected for the price. Now if I can just take it easy in the beginning it won't be 90 degrees in my blind. All in all it seems like a keeper.

Excellent design and teaching. The visual editing is perfect. The harmonica playing in the background is very distracting and I need to concentrate to take in new info. I kept rewinding and getting annoyed so I finally muted and used subtitles. Background tracks are good for recording engineers. At some point it was propagated that background music helps concentration. Again...a concept that employs sound engineers. Otherwise....yes....will definately build this superb stove.

I'd say that they doesn't last even 2 hours of use, with the factory edge or any edge, as also I's say all mass produced knives, should be reprofiled and sharpened before first use (2-3 sharpening sessions, is the minimum if you want to learn, how that knife can perform, on both edge stability and edge holding abilities) but it's Mors, so I will only say, So long teacher, I'm really glad, that he confessed his biggest sin in front of public, on one of his last appearances. It happens with most old people, before they die and it's the most important thing, if you don't die before your time. What was that sin? He admitted that he made all this wonderful career, takinf advantage of Christians, who as he said, believed that the Apocalypse and what God revealed in it, to save US, made people seeking for how to "survive" It's Mors words, not mine. He literally admitted. that he took advantage of that, and that's where he found the idea, to become a survival Instructor. Now, why old people, usually confess their sins, just before they leave this world? The answer is the most logical one, it's because our creator, has revealed the Truth to us, and our soul, doesn't want to stay out of Paradise. Don't get confused, a real Christian believes in no religions. Christianity isn't a religion. Religions are Devil's traps. When someone says, he belongs to a religion, that means he/she, is worshiping the devil. That's also why, his dogs divided Christianity into different religions. The real Christian, as Christ said, is always under persecution, because it has nothing to do, with this worlds kingdoms, but with the next ones!! Be careful, the Marκ of thε beasτ is here. Accepting what they now enforce to you, is denying Paradise forever. It's not MY words, or opinion, it's what God himself has said, so we speak about FACTS and not opinions... BE careful, This is the END as the DOORS used to sing. If you want to save yourselves and your families, leave behind your old character. repent and accept the Truth, it's that simple. Gοd bless yοu all! Happy Eaςτer, Jesus Chrιςτ is Risen!!!

I’ve never heard about that before. Thanks for explaining what he confessed!👍🏻
@greekveteran271510 ай бұрын
@@xderiwx All this about "Survival" has been manipulated purposely,to turn people to materiasm and make us believe the lie,that it's the products and gear that are going to save us and not God and our repentance. That's 1 reason, why all products allover the world, have the 666 on the barcode. And that's why God warned us about that...and that's why Mors confessed in public,his sin. Sin is just a synonym to the word mistake. The best confession,isn't to a priest and thus God,but to the persons you have cheated or harmed. That,guarantees a 100% forgiveness from God! PS Be careful. Antchrιςt and the mark of th beαςt, are here. It all have begun,since covid.

I'm rounding 16 yrs of using this model stove with stainless hot water tank. I just replaced the boiler tank spigot gasket for the first time and finally replaced the fiberglass gasket. It gets daily use sometimes running months at a time. It's my only means of hot water and cooking. When I went homeless 7 yrs ago I made a small double wall stove for my van, when I got work my boss gave me a office trailer to use and I got the stove out of a friend's garage where it was in storage and set up a chimney. Thank you for making such a sturdy tool to help me stay alive in the months of zero and sub zero temperatures . You are a fine craft artist with these stoves. 1🌎1❤️🙏🏻
@oldmilkmaid1955 Жыл бұрын
That's brilliant! I plan to build one ASAP! Thanks for your nice clear instructions, and the ready availability of your materials, with only the can itself to be bought, with food in it that will be heated and eaten once the stove is built. I sure prefer this to going to a hardware store for $20 - $30 worth of parts, and spending all day cutting, grinding, welding, and assembling the stove. Survival shouldn't be expensive, complicated, or difficult for the average person. I have a source for #10 cans and wire coat hangers, so I think I will make a number of these to share! ❤
