I have a $100 on the Gators beating their o/u of 4.5. I also have $100 on the Gators beating Miami. I fully expect to collect on both, especially the o/u. That's just easy money. The Miami game is a little closer but I still think the Gators get it done.

Miami’s success in the pass game will depend on how well gators’ DLine can get to Cam. If they can disrupt him and make him throw more off platform and in rushed scenarios, he’ll make more mistakes. Miami’s DB’s are talented but mostly inexperienced (even with a few guys stepping up so far in camp) but the front 7 will make their lives easier with their undisputed ability to get to the qb. I can’t say how good the running game will be for Florida but I can say that it would likely take a step back even if Montrell Johnson makes it back from injury. Miami’s running back room is just absolutely loaded so I think the defensive coordinator is gonna have to be very cautious and aware so that you don’t get beat horribly on either pass or run. It’s going to be a heated game for sure given the environment and the stakes and rivalry and such, but I think Miami’s roster is more balanced and depth filled to handle whatever Florida has to offer. I’ve seen firsthand how Florida’s team can fall out of games like several months ago against fsu, and how the fans can start to give up as well. I think Miami could win this with a 10-17 point difference, but Florida will make it competitive throughout the game

It’s not a new system for him, that’s why he came to Miami. Also he’s played at Oregon and put up good numbers, his team’s problem last year was they could t run and had no D. That’s not an issue for him this year. Don’t be shocked it the gators get waxed.

Miami’s secondary is much better than nationally perceived. In two weeks UF hopefuls will realize these teams are NOT evenly matched. UF hopefuls act like that Kentucky game never happened. They keep speaking about Mario’s questionable coaching decisions. They need to be concerned about their own coach who hasn’t proven anything.

Miami had the #11 Rushing Defense in nation last season, and they were top 5 before falling apart late... they added a ton of pieces to this 2024 D-Line... Florida won't be able to run the ball at all
