We go in September (golden oak) and I specifically asked for a cabin facing the forest, we went to Thetford about 7 years ago and loved it.

Hi! It was a Silver Birch. We've stayed in Golden Oaks before and we didn't find any real difference apart from a few details like robes and slippers in the main bedroom. 🙂

Sorry! I've just realised that I got confused with my own vlogs 😂. This one WAS a Golden Oak. It was our latest visit that was the Silver Birch. So sorry! They are lovely cabins, and at Sherwood Forest you're right amongst the trees. 🙂

Yes, we love ours! I really prefer the poly-cotton (I think that's right!) because it feels much nicer inside in the morning when it can be really stuffy! I miss camping.

Cool cabin i might look into that, i used to go mountain biking at sherwood pines, hit a tree on the red route😆 👍

Haha! Yeah, the menfolk usually do segway or biking, but babies are slowly taking over our group. I'd definitely recommend the Forest Holidays cabins - they're on the same complex as Sherwood Pines, too. 👌🏼

Oh, Lord - we'd better be able to travel again next year! Definitely go to Zorba's deli if you're in that area, it's amazing! The doughnuts are the biggest I've seen! X

Why do men always struggle to get in cold water when we're already up to our necks. I put beach sounds on when I was sunbathing the other day...worked a treat. I was in Malta all over again xx

Just to say - we are Cypriots who live in Cyprus. Our flag is white with golden yellow island shape with olive branches. Did you also know that Cypriot language is different to Greek language in many ways. We are not a Greek island. Try the mountains and mountain villages to see the real Cyprus with better prices, you will rarely see cockroaches away from the tourists hotels too! All the best.
