😅 Circling contradictions, hilarious. Love how the interviewer isn't fazed by his attempts to faze him, just lets him ramble then find himself again.

Impressive how he did an nice effort to sing Whole Lotta Shaking Going On sounding young, close to Sun Records days. When he finished and said "I rest my case", the tone come back to his usual. Maybe he was trying to prove some studio executive that he could still record a soundtrack for a new film. Indeed he was higher pitch in this video than in the 1988 Great Balls of Fire movie soundtrack.

J'ai vu le même concert en France à Bercy en 1992 et c'était juste génial Berry au piano Jerry lee a la guitare et Bo a la batterie, un rêve éveillé quel souvenir! :43

Jerry unfiltered. You have to keep looking and listening because he compels your attention. He’s got that “it thing” going on both off and on stage. He’s the real deal. I call them originals, a whole new mold-he calls them stylists that you can count on one hand-and he is one of them. Due to attention on his chaotic private life he’s never gotten his due as the seminal, complete-package artist he really is.

Painful to listen to a pampered white college boy trying to interviw a southern madman like Jerry Lee. Where's Nick Tosches when you need him?

I was never a fan and didn't really know that he even had a song-book of any kind, i mean as far as i ever knew he had like one or three songs that ever got any attention and that was a long long tjme ago😮

I feel like maybe Jerry had a little too much to drink before the interview, ha ha. He's just having a good time goofing off and giving the interviewers a hard time. He's probably answered these questions so many times and now he's just having fun with it. Jerry Lee Lewis was full of confidence and like he said, you can't hurt him. He's gonna do and say whatever he wants. The interviewers here just seem so uptight and uncomfortable. They just don't seem to have a sense of humor so they're just not getting Jerry Lee at all.

Let’s face it…it can never happen again so be glad it happened on this night and someone had the presence of mind to capture it! A friend of mine said if it was ten years earlier it might have been a legendary ass-whooping! These cats had mellowed a bit by ‘91.

I lived in Columbia, LA for 20 years with my husband from there which is fairly close to Ferriday and so I feel like I know JLL. His way of life, speech patterns, personality, attitude could be so many I knew including my own husband. He had a big knife scar on his shoulder gotten in an after hours club when he was a kid.See what I mean? Where else can you get a drive-through daiquiri?

Fui para a costa onde minha alma desejava ir Eu ouço sua voz gentil chamando: "Old Black Joe" Old Black Joe Jerry Lee Lewis Letra Gone are the days when my heart was young and gay Gone are the toils of the cotton fields away Gone to the fields of a better land I know I hear those gentle voices calling, "Old Black Joe" I'm coming, I'm coming For my head is bending low I hear those gentle voices calling, "Old Black Joe" I'm coming home (I'm coming home) I'm coming home (I'm coming home) Oh-oh my head is bending low I hear those gentle voices calling, "Old Black Joe" Old Black Joe, Old Black Joe, Old Black Joe Why do I weep when my heart should feel no pain? Why do I sigh that my friends come not again? Grieving for forms now departed long ago I hear their gentle voice calling, "Old Black Joe" Where are the hearts once so happy and free? The children so dear that I held upon my knee? Gone to the shore where my soul has long'd to go I hear their gentle voice calling, "Old Black Joe"
