@@michaele1407 I don't know anything about Spectrum. But OMTech has been a solid machine, it's totally user upgradable and their customer service has been create to me. So helpful, thank you. I get really anxious doing things like this to my Beamo so seeing someone do it is a big help. Quick questions, in the manual it says to take the laser head and plug the air outlet into the water pipe to blow out the water the other side. Seeing as I am really nervous to do something wrong do you think I should follow that step or is manually blowing the water out so easy that any fool (me) can do it?
@DavGlass
@DavGlass 2 жыл бұрын
I just did it the old fashioned way. As long as there aren’t any chemicals in the water it should be fine.

So glad I found your videos about the Flux laser, because you not only take about the maintenance, but you show how to do it, seeing how good is the build of the machine. I'm deciding between the Beamo or Beambox Pro ...I'm seeing too, on your work table (laser) a hashtag #RyobiNation and see that your logo color scheme is like Ryobi ...so I assuming you like the tools ...so part of my research for laser is a nice tool combo of tools, debating between Makita, Ryobi, Dewalt ...just to give a little info, my laser would be in my smallest room of my condo (yes, I have done all the research about venting and I'll need and extra inline fan like the Infinity 6" to have even a more stronger exhausting ratio) ...so any recommendation would be. greatly appreciate. Thanks.

Great video, Dav! Thanks. I'm looking at buying one of these. Question: Do you know if these machines can do a precise, scale-accurate cut from a DXF file? I work in AutoCAD and all of my stuff needs to be accurate to 1/64". I bought a Glowforge, which was a total mistake for my needs. I'm hoping this one might work better. Thanks again for the great video.

Bless you, Dave (and DAMN YOU, DAVE!) LOVE the build and the ability to change the configuration using T-track's idea! But now watching your video and getting a look at your shop, your set-up and various jigs/accessories you use (a few are a bit different than what I've seen before), now I'm basically OBSESSED with figuring out many of the tools and jigs you use, and making/buying many of them for my small shop! I found you from your post of this build on the Ryobi website, and it looks like you've recently started your You Tube channel (excellent video editing, by the way!) I know many others out there, including myself, would love seeing a tour of your shop, videos on some of the tools and jigs you use (maybe some tips and tricks, too) and more of your builds! Thank you for sharing and for the inspiration - keep up the great work and here's to many, many more subscribers to your channel!
