Could you possibly explain how to do that last part in the shading? I tried to create that mask with the black fill like you did, but it's not working the same? I love that weathered effect, but I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong. Thank you! I love your art and it inspires me while I am attending school for commercial arts! I'm trying to find new tricks like that one to level up my art. Any advice is appreciated!!

Here you go: Put all your layers into a group with CTRL + G, then with that layer selected, "Add Vector Mask" at the bottom of the screen (Next to fx button at the bottom), makes sure your colors on the far left bottom is Black ontop of White. Select the "Rectangular Marquee Tool" and draw a box around your "character". Next press ALT + BACKSPACE, this will fill the box with black and make the image dissapear. Go back to your color option on the far left bottom and click the small arrows (Switch Foreground and Background Colors), this will place White ontop of Black. select your brush (B) and start painting your image back. Use the Oil Canvas Flat brush that Dan is using for the cool effect. Hope that helps! Have a great day and enjoy creating!
