Thank you so much. This was extremely clear and to the point without waffling. You have demystified how to use the adapter arm to hold larger frames too. Great info. I wasn't going to buy the Lowery stand until I watched your video, no one has explained it so well as you on YT.

The BEST VIDEO yet on how to work on a frame ergonomically! Thank you! Please keep teaching online. I loved how you presented so thoroughly and naming all your products you tested out already for us. At 65, I am stitching more than ever, but it’s taking a toll on my body.👏❤️😊👍

I use a Mini iPad. Fits Nicely in the gutter of the rods, that doubles as I desk. Also, I have a “mic stand that I attached to the foundation pole of the Lowery stand as my latest “new greatest thing.” Lolol

Thank you for posting these videos. I just got a K's Creation floor stand that came with a part that I could not figure out what it was. Luckily some ladies on a cross stitch Facebook group told me what it was. Which then lead me to these 3 videos. Not only did I learn about the adapter, but the gauze thing is a fantastic idea and I love how you keep your beads on the bar of the scroll. I have a project that has been set aside because I need to do the beading and have not felt like being stuck at a table working on the beads. What size tablet is that? I am looking into getting a tablet for using pattern keeper and that looks to be an ideal size.

Oh I like you; you're lovely! Thank you for providing ALL the information I need. My major concern in choosing a stand is to find something that works in my recliner with good posture as I can't see without my work close. Also haven't yet found a comfortable magnification solution so including your lamp and glasses info also hugely helpful. I had previously dismissed the Lowry (just from pictures) thinking it wouldn't give the reach I needed in the recliner - so now I know it's worth another look. Fabulous - top Lady x - Thank you (and your cameraman) again :O)

Thank you for this video, it really made me reflect on how awful my posture is while stitching. I tend to twist up like a pretzel when I stitch, and I'm sure it contributes to my migraines. I'm going to seriously consider getting a lowery stand to help with this.

Thank you for this video! I've been researching floor stands as I have recently purchased Millennium frames which are similar to the Omanik you are using. I have a Lowery with the longer L bar and a corner clamp but I do not have the wooden extender bar. Do you find the extender bar reduced the bounce of the Lowery? I have also had trouble with my frame tilting or drooping down with longer frames. Yours seem level. Any advice on this? Do you use a weight on the base plate? I would love to be able to get my Lowery to work for me so I could just add the extender bar without giving up on it. I have heard of some stitchers using two Lowery stands for longer heavier frames. Any assist you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hi Pam, thank you for your fantastic videos. My favorite tip is using the gauze for tensioning. I purchased an inside dimension 16” highx36” wide antique frame and extended an “Ellen Stroh Roses in their Splendor” design to fit. The Jobelan is 26”x46”. I used a Qframe for 30 years and I thought it would be fine. Wrong! I now have the Lowery stand and Quantum frame. I had to fold over the ends of the fabric to fit which caused a gap in the already finished part of the design and I couldn’t get the tension I needed. The design was too heavy since I also have trouble in my thumbs and I have Macular Degeneration. I’m determined to finish my design that I’ve already been working on for over 2 years. I checked with Omanik for a 120cm. They can make it but it would cost $242 for just shipping and it would have a brace on it. Are there any tricks that would make it easier when I fold the excess fabric on the ends? Thank You, Gail. I’m impatiently waiting for the next video.

After many years of stitching, I became frustrated and gave up 10 years ago due to failing eyesight, together with struggling with various stands, lamps and magnifiers. During the current covid lockdown in the UK, I decided to research some aids to enable me to try to start work again on a large piece that was half finished, and came across your video on the Lowery Stand. I decided immediately that this was just what I needed - assembled it this morning and have happily been stitching all day! Thank you Pam for your inspirational video, hope there are more to follow. Best wishes from North Yorkshire, and stay safe.

Oh, Pat! I’m sooooo happy for you! And, Lowery headquarters are right there. I KNOW they are expensive, but Check out the CraftOptic glasses with the Dream Light. Another stitcher friend ordered them from the USA after trying unsuccessfully with some knock offs. She, too, is doing the happy dance and stitching! Nothing can keep us down with our passion for stitching and I’m sure still cheaper than therapy. Lolololol

@bill bisbing Dear Pam. Watching this video in 2021. Such a great help. After viewing I got it clear what I need and not in terms of accesories. Would you be so kind to tell me if you have had any video to see how to stitch in between the frame and the magnifying lights. I have a magnifier light but I do not feel at ease stitching with it because all the times I sort out my needle gets into the magnyfier lamp or even worst the lens.

I’ll be honest, it just takes getting use to. As you see here, I am a 2-handed stitcher. After this video, I purchased CraftOptic lenses and have not looked back. They cost the same as a high-quality pair of prescription glasses, but TOTALLY INVALUABLE. I can now stitch anywhere as I can take them with me, either plug in or use the battery pack that comes with the Dream Light that attaches right to the glasses. They are NOT heavy on the nose, the company is first rate to work with. www.CraftOptics.com for your research. Hope this helps you.

what an incredible 3 part video. You must have been a teacher? Your explanation of the Lowery stand was impeccable. I have never seen such an in-depth video on a product before. I just cannot believe this was your first video. Your husband (or male friend) was funny too. I hope to see more videos from you. You are an excellent teacher!!!!

If it works, keep going. I’ve stitched out of hand, using a hoop, eventually a lap stand and moved up to this for my large Chatelaine pieces. I like working with both hands.
