The stock exhaust sounds better than the new Harleys.
@whatarethose22026 жыл бұрын
Yes it does sound better. I have ridden both the Honda 1300cc and the 2018 Harley Softail 107. Stock 2018 Softail Harley = soft Japanese sound, stock Honda Fury = beefy Harley sound.
@thomasowens60415 жыл бұрын
Or at least as good. Sound way more reliable 😉
@jazzykingjack28463 жыл бұрын
The failure rate after 4 years with a Honda motorcycle is 12% as compared to a Harley Davidson which is 26% and this is research that I did a little while ago. Also love the stock exhaust.

@wolfperformancecycles93925 жыл бұрын
mrjtful Boy yes you should always
@grimreefer51594 жыл бұрын
it depends on the extent of the exhaust and how much more free flowing it is... with the high flow air filter and extremely free flowing exhaust, yeah a tune would be needed. with just the 3 inch slip ons or drilled factory exhaust, you could get by without a tuner. As a general rule of thumb, if you don't notice a performance decrease or idle roughness or anything like that, then you don't need a tuner.

Do you transport it on your JK hardtop? If so what is the best way to do it? I have the same Jeep and this will be my first kayak? Thanks

I don't transport it on the jeep. I converted an old boat trailer into a kayak trailer to haul the 4 kayaks and the paddle boat.
@Lycian7 жыл бұрын
Use a couple pool noodles tied around the top. Put the kayak upside on top of the noodles. Use cam or ratchet straps to tie it down roof, going through the jeep. Then tie down the front and back with come paracord.

Hi, how did you dril the hole in to the stock exhaust. thx
@poolboybiff17 жыл бұрын
If you look at the back of the muffler there are two small holes. I took a 12" long 1/2 " drill bit and drilled each of those holes into 1/2" holes.
@paulkempen38047 жыл бұрын
poolboybiff1 . what did you do whit the pieces you drild out. did they om out easy. thx
@poolboybiff17 жыл бұрын
The material I drilled out was more of a dust than chunks. I did take a magnetic wand up the holes at first but not much came out. When you start the bike the exhaust pressure will push out the rest.
