I’m honestly not sure there’s really a better meshuggah bridge than 1:30 on this track. And that’s saying something

Man, I can swear the drums tempo just slows down at the begining. Between 0:10 and 0:20.

Haha, that point at 1:53 where Morgan misses two kicks and Fredrik immediately gives him the look. This stuff is seriously not human.

Back in early 2001 I believe (approximately) there was a big drum exhibition/clinic and it was either Vinny Gugliata (no idea if that's spelled right) OR it was Steve Gadd, who after hearing Morgan's exhibition/demonstration of his favored techniques and whatnot (he went all the way to crazy chaos town and back if you understand what I mean.....i.e. his stuff is incredible but sometimes he had a wild streak that was pretty damn crazy) approached Morgan with a very puzzled look and said, "WHAT were you just doing!?!?" And Morgan famously (the other musicians there still laugh about this when they retell the tale) said, with his thick accent in English "I DONT KNOW!?!?!?!" The consensus seems to be that even Morgan was aware that he sometimes goes out of body during intense playing.

Incredibly tight for all the syncopations in a 4/4 time signature. Probably the most metal of a band. 🔥

Awesome. This is a super rare one for them to play. I saw them play this song in ‘02 or ‘03 back when they were promoting Nothing and had Strapping Young Lad opening for them. Haven’t seen them play it since.

It seems that I need to make a new playlist. Why is it that I only find seperated tracks instead of one video with the full demo. Really, why is it that almost everything what people produce is but a part of what it would/could/should be and why do real things detiorate evaporate, and crumble into stupidity and fragmented shadows and pretty much everything has to be filled in as to how someone else/inanimate or not, at least someone other than the original instigator, thinks it should be filled out and mostly messed up into nonsense and waste of time on practically any kind or form of integrity and beyond every reasonable agreableness to be imagined.

This was uploaded in 2011. Uploading full length albums wasn't really feasible back then because KZfaq still had a 15 minute limit on uploads. I'm not sure about the rest of whatever you said, but good luck on your playlist.

I remember a comment someone made about contradictions collapse. They said this wasn’t djent meshuggah this was quasi thrash meshuggah they had the Metallica thrash element. But with the off time beats was what made it more interesting. Hell Jen’s sounded almost like James hetfield on that record.
