I was sort of hoping you'd show what mods you would make to the charging circuit. A stock sli charger will only give you about 80%

Would it not have made much more sense to use a 7S3P arrangement in order to get the full 20V PDO from the 65W module? You get the same amount of capacity and so long as the other modules can handle a voltage over 12V it allows you to use the 20V PDO for the entirety of the packs capacity pretty much. Only downside would be the BMS becomes more complicated...I like these style of 3S and 4S BMS for the ability to put the BMS at then end of a rectangular pack and just solder or spot weld the overhanging strips to the PCB.

Those parallel strips you added were totally pointless except the one on the main positive and negative...but since the current is being drawn from just one end of the strip it wasn't quite as effective as a pack that draws current from the entire length of the main positive and negative series. The series connections carry all the current from one group to the next. The parallel strips are only for balancing the cells in each parallel group to each other...so current along that path, especially with matching cells should be extremely small. I doubt you'd ever see 1A for more than 1 second at any point in time along those strips although the cells furthest from the BMS connections will be passing energy down towards the BMS during discharge and during charge the cells closest to the BMS connections will charge slightly faster than the cells furthest away from the BMS so there will be a small current flowing to help the end cells catch up. The only other point I can make I believe I've mentioned on another video. Your spot welding technique is ignoring the slits in the nickel. Its there to make the current go through the terminal and properly come out where the other electrode is. It has to do with current following the path of least resistance. When you have nickel with no slit the current might find it is an easier path to just shoot across the nickel strip and never really go into the cell's terminal creating a weaker weld. Granted, this is more important for pure nickel which is significantly harder to weld especially in the 0.20mm thick and up region. I never use nickel plated steel unless I'm out of pure nickel but if you are using pure nickel and struggling to get a REAL weld that tears nickel from the strip and leaves a weld nugget on the terminal (popping off with no holes in the nickel, no material left on the terminal is a BAD weld) try rotating the pack 90 degrees from how you did this one and put an electrode on either side of the slit. I'd say it increases the thickness of material you can weld by 0.05mm of pure nickel.

This is like the Final Boss of all the batteries you have reviewed Brother 😅 Jokes aside this is a hell of a battery pack. What caught my attention was that cells were ideally balanced and had low internal resistance. Dudes from AOlithium know how to do battery packs! Awesome, just awesome, and congrats Brother! ✌
