its a great flick, almost as good as 1968 original, everything after 1968 has been awful until 2024 Kingdom, funny thing is there is 1700 years to catch up with before 1968 ship landing on earth lol, thats a lot of prequels

Your conclusion is the most true part, the movie ends where it should have started. Worse than Morbius for sure.

the movie was good but it came out too close to Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. So for those that need to choose which to watch on cinema due to budgetary chose Kingdom's

My girlfriend and I just saw it at a drive-in, and it was great. I'm not surprised, though. It stars Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt, and they both make great movies. Also, they had great chemistry.

The movie showed how the world can not trust white people. After Noah went against his teaching and accepted, feed, clothed, and protected the white girl she turned her back on them in the end. Kinda like the Native Americans and Indians! She created a plan that would force Noah to help her by helping himself to find his tribe. She broke into the vault, got what she went there for and even killed her own kind to get what she wanted! After she was in the vault and found the guns, she o my looked out for her well-being by getting only a hand gun which she hid under her clothes. Sneaky! Never did she think to give Noah and his three members a gun for protection. Self perseverance! Once she had the chip in her possession, she opened the door and detonated the explosive, causing a tsunami of water to flood into the vault. As the water flooded into the vault, the white girl stood on the side platform and watched as the apes were washed away! She didn’t think twice about helping them! She was concerned about getting the chip back to her people. (Now remember Noah saved her multiple times throughout the movie). Noah saved his tribe and returned to the woods and started over, but out of the blue she shows up and spoke with Noah. During that conversation she had the gun behind her back in her right hand. If Noah had of made my ring move she would have kills him, after all he did for her! Never trust a white personal because they will all choose self preservation over you, even will kill their own to get what they want. During their Noah and the white girl final conversation, she told Noah that what was in the vault was not meant for apes. Meaning, I couldn’t use it and I’m not going to let you use it either! It’s not for you. There were a lot more hidden messages in this movie but those are the obvious cues!

Does anyone remember the name of the friend she was facetiming when she was home alone? Kinda looks like the girl character from the original. Is this all happening in the same time line?

This is a great vid in general but fyi there's a great big omission at 14:10 - she says "I'll leave you... if that's what you need to hear (to win this match)". Big difference. Still a threat, but nowhere near as histrionic as LME is saying.

Can we also talk about how the main man character ran into the bathroom after being chased by the guy with the bag in his head and say “we need to find a weapon.” AND PROCEEDS TO LOOK THROUGH THE BATHROOM CABINET? That was the most laughable seem for me in the entire movie.

I didn’t like how at the beginning of the movie, they hyped this incident as extremely brutal and violent etc. But…. There was nothing more than a stab to each of the main characters lol Overall not a bad movie at all. Horror fans just love to hate on sequels.

I had 0 interest in watching this but had to pause around 8:40 to take it all in with the twist cause I truly didn't see that coming. This movie is gonna either be a cult classic or one of those truly underrated things. Even before the twist of the IF just touching the guys shoulder and him not feeling alone anymore has me tearing up in my big age. Mr. Blunt is for real going places as a director. I'm curious about quiet place day one (even though its not directed by him). I can't wait to see what they do with the 'Life on Mars?' movie if it ever gets made cause its been in production since 2018 and he's made Quiet Place: Part II and this in that timespand. The premise of that movie sounds extremely good.

s it me or does every interview Dekota Johnson did for this movie seem like she didnt care 1 iota and barley even remembered any of the scene she actually did, let aon anything related to spiderman, marvel, or hero movies in genral.
@JC.SpdRcr5Күн бұрын
Why does Dakota Johnson always seem like she doesn't know what she's supposed to say or do and she's 2 hours late to the party? She loves the marvel movies yet she's seen 4% of them? I'm starting to really not like her in these interviews. It's almost like she's playing a character but not acting well enough. Maybe their first mistake was bringing DJ into Madame Web.

Imagine being in 50 Shades of Grey and thinking, "OK, well at least that was popular amongst some," getting to be in the amazing Suspiria remake, thinking that starring in terrible movies is a thing that is now behind you, and then your agent casts you in this movie. No wonder she fired her agent...
