Or even the handheld LCD games. I played the crap out of some Donkey Kong Jr on that flip out thing. These mechanical games are more interesting how they work than they are a game. Even though this one is kind of fun.

Great video!!! I'm quite jealous of your omnibot 2000s! I have a Dingbot but it appears the motor is fried, does anyone happen to know where you can get replacement oms-b motors?

I have literally refurbished hundreds of mechanical toys and robots. Not once have I had to replace the motor. I would bet your Dingbot motor is fine, it just needs to be cleaned. I have several videos showing how to clean the motors.

How do you remember where everything goes and how it works? I have 2 of these. One where i can hear the gears working. One that just lights up. I took apart and put right back together seeing how intricate it was. Do you offer restoration services? Super awesome job!

Is this the most intricate piece you've work on? What different is going on between the "amateur and pro" levels, just speed?

No, the other one that I am working on right now has almost been thrown against the wall several times. I finally got it working, barely. You'll see soon. Also, on pro is speeds up and slows down, on amateur it stays slow.

Having batteries (even non-rechargeable) in parallel is no problem if they're the same. Batteries have an internal resistance, making them balance out with little to no worries.
@RandiRain
@RandiRain 8 күн бұрын
Absolutely not what I was taught. I just asked chatGPT, and its answer... "No, non-rechargeable batteries should not be put in parallel without a diode. When you connect batteries in parallel, each battery must have the same voltage to ensure even distribution of the load. If there's a slight difference in voltage between the batteries, current could flow from the higher voltage battery to the lower voltage battery, potentially causing overheating, leakage, or even an explosion." The exact thing I said.

I'm a teddy ruxpin enthusiast and I own 2 Teddy's, this is the story of teddy ruxpins The person who engineered teddy ruxpin was an engineer of the Disney animatronics, back in 1985, the talking Anamtronicic Illiop (fictonal-made up caricature made by worlds of wonder, in witch teddy ruxpin is) Sold so well, extra tapes were created, and 3 of the world's of wonder teddy ruxpin generations ,later on, a television series was created called "the adventures of teddy ruxpin, the caricatures included teddy (main caricature) grubby (teddys best friend) Newton gimmick (siantist) the fobs (fluffy little critters) the grunges, wholly-wahts-it, tweeg (vilan) and L.B (bounder that is tweegs sidekick),in 1987, worlds of wonder (the company of the first type of teddy ruxpin) went bankrupt, then in the 19s, teddy ruxpin was re released by Play skool, later on, yes entertainment took teddy, later backpack toys, then in 2017, wikid cool toys release a teddy ruxpin with blue, furby connect like eyes and connected to Bluetooth via the teddy ruxpin app, a tv series was planned but was later cancelled for unknown reasons Creepy pastas, myths, and legends were made of these, giveing them bad reputations like the furby Lots of fake teddy ruxpins, followed the teddy due to its success Teddy ruxpin fakes including: Gabi bear, smart Sam, sammy The dark parts of teddy ruxpin community __________________________________ Just like most things, teddy ruxpin has rule 34, if you don't know it's just gross art of random things from things like bluey, furby and even the teddy ruxpin, Just like most communities, teddy ruxpin community has toxic members and scammers People who fake likeing teddy ruxpins and secretly hates on the owners of them And just haters, Spammers, Trolls, And the list mey go on Fan arts! ------- All communities have fan art, weather it may be animations, ocs based on the caricatures, cute art or not so cute art, comic dubs and parodies, most tend to be good,cute art like for instance my pfp I made of my teddy ruxpin :3 Fan made accessories ----------------- While there being a lot of different official teddy ruxpin aaccesories, lots of community members take it into there own hands and make stuff for their teddy ruxpin, like necklaces, bracelets, more cloths and even shoes! That's all that I know! Please bring this to the top so people can see this❤

looks like you are crushing the blue wire for the motor at 12:47 compared to 6:34 Randi, not sure which one you were working on at the time, and while not a moving part won't matter too much, just if it stops working you will know why. looking at the video looks like the blue game you were doing at 12:47

as for the white game, I would suggest looking into the wiring, as you removed the wiring switch on the battery compartment, as a possible suspect as to the game not working, maybe something there that needed to be connected. are they mains operated? then the power connector should have a micro switch in it to stop the batteries from charging. but pretty sure some games/toys I had from the 70's/80's didn't have a micro switch on the power jack so check that first, as you might be right on it charging the batteries if the power jack is plugged in.
