He's lucky a V10 didn't show up. I'm always amazed at how easy it is pulling 3,5t and overtaking uphill at 100km/h

Hi Loco , hope you will see this coment . I have 07 3.0 tdi touareg with air suspension . Looking for biggest at tires that can be fit on it without any cuttings . It will be 32’’ i guess? Hope for your answer ! Have a good one 👍

Had a touraeg as a work car and it was very powerful and very quick. Held the road really well and was very comfy but the engine went pop. They aren't very reliable and very expensive to fix.

Спасибо за подробное объяснение. У меня такой же авто, 2004 г выпуска но движок 4 и 2 литровый бензин. При поворотах передний. Редуктор обгусовал. Ровно едет просто как всегда нормально ну назад,и в вперёд при поворотах обгусывает. Снимали "редуктор". Всё норм сняли ещё передние внутренние наружные. Граната. Всё хорошо, родной смазка. даже в нём, ну оказался эта раздатка,дифференциал при поворотах отключает переднюю редуктор разви так может. Кто-нибудь скажите, прошу вас, это правильная версия? Если даже неправильно я уже заказал раздатку из авито. Правда Беу но рабочие. Прошу вас, напишите, пожалуйста если не трудно кто понимает спасибо заранее.🙏

Nice car not knocking the vw but I want to see what it will do against a 4x4 DRW (dual rear wheel) 3500. Saw a video of one giving a Chevrolet 2500 SRW (single rear wheel) duramax truck heck. Thought the goobermint motors was gonna break. This jeep did ten times better against the vw than the 2500 did

Hello! I have a 2009 3.0 with air suspension and I am thinking of changing measurements to 265/70 R17. Do you think it has some kind of friction or do they fit well?

For transmission you need OEM fluid from VW dealership or you can get oil from Toyota dealership but you need to get 3309 spec T-VI fluid for Aisin gear box

The Touareg V8 has a bigger engine with significantly more torque and weighs ~5300lbs, while the Wrangler (with the 3,8 V6) is lighter (~4300lbs) and has less torque. So no big surprise here, dont know what you wanted to demonstrate? You should try the same with the Wrangler 392.

Hi! Love your build, pretty rad! I was wondering if this eLocker also fits gen2 (2010-2018) touareg? I have a 2012 3.0tdi with low gear and factory center+rear locker, would like to add the front locker also.

Thank you, but unfortunately T2 is very different to T1 and the carrier is welded to the ring gear so I really don’t know what the solution is

Interesting. Are the rubber inserts with holes in them new? The pictures and videos I've seen on these wheels in the past have solid rubber inserts.

The “rubber” inserts here are not actually rubber….. cause I made them out of PVC pipe and drilled symmetrical holes in them so they can be easily balanced when assembled, the reason why I made them is because I have reduced the weight of each wheel by 2 kg, and that’s a lot for this kind of suspension 😊

@@LOCOTouareg Ah, I remember you mentioning they were PVC. So you made those? They seem great for being able to control the balance as well as shedding weight. Nice job! I actually thought about getting the rock monsters for my cayenne, but that project is on hold due to a coolant leak destroying my trans seal.

Yo yO! ESTAS LOCO! I love it! I am on a v8 touareg with air suspension and locking rear diff. I am doing my mods as well and looking at 35" wheels and DEFINITELY KEEPING THE WHEEL LINERS :-D Can you tell me more about your build? Did you change your control arms, lift kit, subframe drop? I have some offroad lower control arms and considering some tubular uppers. I am also looking at the pros and cons of the lift kits and removing my bumper or cutting it and putting a custom fabricated piece beneath to free up more space. Love to learn everything I can from your work! Peace

I love this car. I just visited Fraser Island and in very soft sand Toyota Landcruiser's drove faster than me. But when it was low tide. Then Touareg showed its power, passed everyone with 120km/h like a post and huge sand/water cloud behind. Kind of like tornado. With 265/65/17 wrangler duratrac's. Now i got myself 2011 terrain tech with rear locker and i want to take it trans Africa route
