It's been 11 months but Pink would've looked good on the Mosrite. Or Fiesta Red

Sucks to be lefty, so the KC it will be for me since it's the only one they make LH. Don't want to buy second hand, I want pristine example. And no, it's not as easy as "Just learn to play RH", I've tried and I'm not wired like that, trust me. I'd love to be able to do it, there is soo much more cool gear for RH, every single cool limited edition, most basic models and so on are RH only.

I asked few times before is it celestion g12m70? I have an option to buy 1987 one or g12m65 new, same price. So i really need to know if im buying the right thing, because if its not i will buy a new g12 65.

Why is everyone so obsessed with copying a certain tone? Come up with your own tones is what I say. This is the exact same mentality that leads to exorbitant prices on certain items in the second hand market. "So and so used this effect, so I must have that tone!"

Why you didn't use the aluminum guitar plugged into this amp? In past videos that was the source of the tone. Great channel.

tone difference probably comes from not soldered pick ups on the new kc signature model😉

I didnt know Kurt played a steeley dan axe. Bartolinis are the shit for studio work. Albert lee the country virtuoso player who played for clapton wrote a instrumental called ferrington guitars in honor of em. He said danny’s guitars are magical.

Hunted, tracked, and chased that tone down dude! Unexampled dedication here! Off topic, I’ve been chasing pre-Dookie Green Day tone ( bought the Gallien Krueger 250rl and 250 ML… 1976 Fernandes with Hs-4 pickups ( two identical guitars actually). Marshall JCM 900’s and gobs of other amps and pedals ( I’ve hemorrhaged gobs of money into chasing his (BJ’) tone.. I’m confident I’m not the only tone chaser of early Green Day ( you mentioned in another one of your videos “ now what”; this is your next conquest!!) You seem to be the guy to do it! There’s tons of KZfaq videos of their early shows. One from 1989 in Tampa Florida, you can see the GK 250rl ( he ducked taped it to conceal what make and model it was ( to protect his tone), but if you compare their cheap studio tracks by Lookout records, you can still hear the essence of his guitar tone in the 1989 show, which to my ear makes it seem like their first few indie albums we’rent over produced ( like Dookie). Research it if you don’t already know about this.. but I’m into this for 4 years and 20 plus k.. You-da-man!!

Hey Aaron! Thanks for the video, super helpful! Can the Tantalum be 35V or is 16V the only way to go? (not very experienced)
@heggy_694 күн бұрын
You should be fine with those, the voltage thing is just how much voltage the part can be exposed to before it goes boom and in pedals you'll usually only have 9v (unless it's one of those pedals that runs at like 25v or something with a tube). The only real problem you'd have with higher power rated parts is size because some are bigger (one time I bought 1 watt resistors instead of quarter watt for something and I literally couldn't fit them in the thing lol)
