Off topic, I’ve been chasing pre-Dookie Green Day tone ( bought the Gallien Krueger 250rl and 250 ML… 1976 Fernandes with Hs-4 pickups ( two identical guitars actually). Marshall JCM 900’s and gobs of other amps and pedals ( I’ve hemorrhaged gobs of money into chasing his (BJ’) tone.. I’m confident I’m not the only tone chaser of early Green Day ( you mentioned in another one of your videos “ now what”; this is your next conquest!!) You seem to be the guy to do it! There’s tons of KZfaq videos of their early shows. One from 1989 in Tampa Florida, you can see the GK 250rl ( he ducked taped it to conceal what make and model it was ( to protect his tone), but if you compare their cheap studio tracks by Lookout records, you can still hear the essence of his guitar tone in the 1989 show, which to my ear makes it seem like their first few indie albums we’rent over produced ( like Dookie). Research it if you don’t already know about this.. but I’m into this for 4 years and 20 plus k.. You-da-man!!
