Of course. There are plenty engineering universities in Germany offering hundreds of different masters courses. There are winter and summer intakes. I would suggest you to pick some public univeristies and do your research on the course and prepare yourself with all the documentation and certifications needed. For public univeristies, usually they ask for good scores in bachelors.

Do we have to pay the security deposit before we land in germany, or can it be done after?

For rent, yes you need to pay it in advance. In private WG, the landlords usually asks a deposit equals 2-3 months of your rent.

You can join facebook groups for the location you will be living in germany. From there you can join whatsapp communities as well. There are several groups on facebook like 'Indians in Berlin'. But watch out for any kind of scams there!
